Worth the price

Have had no problems with my new transmitter. Bought this one as a replacement and have been pleased with it.
Great product!

Different than the "old" Polar transmitters, the WearLink is very light and esay to transport. You don't have to worry about bending or flattening it like in the past. Just fold it, toss it in your backpack and go.
It works just as well as the older versions.
Good product, working as should.

I lost the original transmitter that cames with the Polar and I saw that my polar works with the Polar Wearlink Coded model, so I bought this model and it is working fine. I really like this wearlink, and the differential to buy this specific model was the option to change battery, because the regular one does not offer this option, once the battery stop to work, you need to buy a new one.
Summary, it is good and works fine, in my case I really like it.

The product works as advertised. The only problem I have with this is that the buckle is hard to undo when you are done with your workout. The treadmill recognizes the polar as I step on to it. Allows a hands free cardio or fat burn workout.
Excellent works great with Cybex Machines!

Comfortable to wear, works instantly no problem so far. Strap is easy to adjust to different sizes.
Comfortable, but pricey!

Note: I understand from a friend that Polar USA will take back old/warn-out sensors and send you a new one for $25 or so. You might want to check into that if your looking for a replacement that is out of "Juice".
This replacement sensor is comfortable, but they sure are pricey! I personally never found the old plastic sensors un-comfortable, and if my girlfriend's dog hadn't eaten my old one out of spite, I wouldn't have bought a new one! -Recommended
Better than the original

I purchased this transmitter when a similar one I had stopped working correctly due to corrosion. This one is designed much better than the one that comes with the F11 watch. It's a pretty big investment, but I have found it to be invaluable!
Excellent Product from Polar

This is my favorite heart rate moniotor that Polar has made. Finally, no struggling to take it off....it is easy to slip on and off with the new hook design. I depend on it for accurate monitoring and it delivers. A great product.

I bought this to replace my previous wearlink transmitter that my dog chewed up. I have to say that I am extremely pleased with this one. It is updated from the original one I received with my unit and it is more sensitive and fits more comfortable than the original wearlink. This is by far the most comfortable heartrate monitor transmitter available.
In the beginning

I was pleased with my transmitter. I actually upgraded from the old style to this type because of the ability to change the battery. While I have been very pleased with the performance of this transmitter while the battery functioned, I cannot say the same when the battery began to wear out. I purchased new batteries and brought them home to attempt to change them. Unfortunately, I was not able to take off the cover. In the process of attempting to get the arrow on the cover to move from close to open a number of times, the inset has now been damaged and cannot be opened. After contacting Polar, my options were to send it in for repair, at least a three week process (too long in my opinion) or have them send me a new cover and have me go to a watch repair place and hope they can get it off. Either way, I am out almost as much money as I would have been just to buy a new transmitter, which I wish I had done.
As long as you are comfortable with replacing this transmitter at a cost of $54.95 every 18 to 24 months, this is a good deal. But if you plan on keeping it for the long run, you might want to find another transmitter to purchase.
