Great fun for my 1 year old grandson. Bounces well. Doesn't really rock as much as expected. Support in saddle provides safe seating and prevents falls.
Favorite Toy For Toddlers

I bought 3 of these at Christmas for toddlers age 12 mos., 17 mos., and 20 mos. It was perfect for the older two but it took the 12 mos. old a couple months to enjoy it. Now, it is the favorite toy for all 3 kids. I would guess it would be best for children beginning about 15 months and up to 3 years of age and maybe a little older. Easy to put together.

one of my 2 year old twin boys likes this toy a good bit, but the other doesn't pay it any attention. He is a bit stockier, so I don't think he likes the idea of the extra effort to get on it? They both loved it when they were smaller & we used the safety seat. Sometimes the smaller just jumps like a wild man, but really alot of $ for no more than what they play with it. It is made in China *ugh* which is a negative for me, but a positive is the horse cover is machine washable & that is nice. The toy is durable, but does tend to scoot while child is riding.

I really like the pony but my 11 month old doesnt have much interest in it she will show she wants to be but on it occasionally and then bounce around for a minute or two and want off. Possibly she will like it more when she can get off and on by herself.
It seems to be pretty well made and should last quite awhile I just hope she takes more interest.
Cute but a little snug for a bigger child 2008-01-14
This is a cute product! Please not that if you have a tall child the safty seat is a little tight. My son is 31 inches tall and 13 months he cannot put his feet on the foot rests because his legs are pressed down by restraint. he is not coordinated enough for us to remove it and let him go...it will be a little bit before he enjoys it.

Safe Activity Toys For 5 Months + 2008-01-07
I searched for rocking horses as Christmas gifts for my two 5 month-old grandchildren. The Radio Flyer Classic Rock and Bounce Pony was the one I felt to be the safest for this age. The child cannot fall out nor tilt over. It is well made, easy to clean and the child can enjoy it a very long time. I don't know who was the happiest with the pony - the babies or their parents. I consider it to be physically educational. It is a great exercise toy and the huge smile on those little faces shows they feel independent and able to perform all by themselves. Amazon's price allowed me to purchase two ponies for the price I would have had to pay on other web sites. I was proud to have provided so much fun for my two grandchildren. I would recommend this item for any very young child.

This was a gift for our grandson for Christmas. It was easy to assemble and we were impressed with how well it is built & how stable it is. The support ring is a nice feature for younger riders. Our grandson immediately loved it!
My Son Loves This Horse 2008-01-02
We bought this rocking horse for our 22 month old son because he has a fascination with horses. He was so excited when we opened it at Christmas that he couldn't wait to have Dad put it together (we should have done that first). He has been riding the horse every day since and even pets the horse on his ears and nose. We expect it to be as durable as all Radio Flyer products.

My one year old grandson and my 7 month old grandson both LOVE this horse. The one year old can get on and off it by himself. Easy to put together and love the washable cover. Highly recommend this for younger children.
