Not for use with HTC 8125

I bought these to replace the uncomfortable earbuds that came with my T-Mobile MDA (AKA the HTC 8125, HTC Wizard, Dopod). The sound is good unfortunately it only plays through one ear. The HTC 8125 (and other HTC products) use a proprietary 2.5 mm connector that has 4 conductors. Even though I have found 2.5mm 4c connector headsets evidently the conductor order is different.

Bottom line, don't buy these to use with an HTC product.

I wanted this item because I wanted to go running and use my palm treo as a music player. Everything about this product is excellent, it fits in the ear and comes with an adapter that converts the 2.5 to a 3.5 input. The only problem is I got screwed by its sophisticated adapter. There is a screw pattern towards the bottom of the jack thats used to screw into the adapter. This is good in that the adapter will NEVER come off and its shut tight but when I try to plug it into my palmtreo (2.5mm) it doesn't go in all the way because of the screw pattern. In order to use it for my treo I have to use the adapter (3.5mm) and then use my own adapter to convert it back into 2.5mm. It works but I had to modify it and when I go running I have to make sure my phone is fully charged if not it will die fast because of the two adapters.

It must be my ears but I have never been able to find any earbuds that are comfortable, until now. The silicone covers don't itch or cause any tenderness whatsoever and you can twist them for an exact fit. The buds can be used with a cell phone and, with the provided adapter, can be used with an mp3 player, computer etc. My main reason for purchasing the earbuds was to use them with my mp3 player. Unfortunately the adapter was broken and too loose. I had to run out to the store and get another adapter.

Exactly what I needed

These headphones were perfect for me. I love the in-ear design so that it actually stays on my ear while I'm listening to music. It lets just enough outside noise in so that I can enjoy my music while still being aware of what is going on around me. Even though they were designed for cell phones, they still meet my mp3 player needs just fine.

Only for Stereo mp3 playing phones

I got this for a friend that is a bit hard of hearing. This sound is great, but will not work with non MP3 phones. I wish it had said this in big letters on the ad.

I ordered these with another pair of stereo handsfree headsets for my new LG VX9400 TV phone. The other pair cost me almost twice as much, but the sound quality, construction, and overall fit of these makes me wish I'd ordered 3 sets of these instead!!! At the time I ordered these, they were priced at only $2.99, so I assumed there had to be a problem with them. WRONG!!! They are in perfect condition, have such great sound that I have to put my phone's volume on 1 so that it doesn't end up too loud, the cord is the perfect length, unlike many others that I've tried, and they fit great!!! I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a great set of headphones, even at $19.99 they're well worth the price!!!

Great Headphones for Working Out

These headphones don't have the best sound quality, but when I'm working out, I don't really care. As long as the music is playing, I'm happy. I've tried a few 2.5mm headphones and none of them are as good as these.

Great earbuds

These are great earbuds for mp4 players. Only one side worked with my cellphone but I bought them for my 2 grandsons and they love them they each have an mp4 player, they said they like how the earbuds fit in their ears, and it comes with 2 types of covers for the earbuds.

Outstanding

This is the best headset that I have ever used. It's fits comfortable around my ear and the clarity is unbeatable.... How did I ever use a cell phone with out it is beyond me...

Uncomfortable

I purchased this hoping to have a nice pair of head phones for the long conference calls. Well, this wasn't the solution! They were not comfortable at all - I was looking for an "in-ear" solution. I found Plantronics MHS213 Stereo Mobile Headset, and have been using these. They are very comfortable, great quality. I would highly recommend the Plantronics instead.
