This stuff works soooo much better than Flexall or any of the other OTC pain relievers I've used in the past. There is menthol in it but it evaporates so there is no lasting order after you put the gel on. It cools to releive pain but doesn't get real hot like some of the OTC products. It is also nice in that it doesn't leave any greasy residue on your clothes. I highly recommend that you try this!
A must have for traveling with pain 2008-07-01
I have used the Biofreeze products for years... however while traveling it's been a real help to be able to dab a bit here and there along the way. This handy 4 oz size makes it easy to get at while not taking up too much room in your carry on. Some airports will give you grief because of the 4 oz size but once they discover that it's for medical purposes they usually let it slide... however the 3 oz size it better for obvious reasons.

I have been using Biofreeze for over a year for bursitis in the hips and arthritis inflammation in the neck. Most topical products have no effect, but Biofreeze works deep, and gives relief that enables me to sleep at night. The odor of the product when first used quickly goes away, but relief continues. I highly recommend this product.
This does NOT work! 2008-04-30
I have osteoarthritis in both knees and this stuff does not work. My orthopedic doctor even says this stuff does not work. Maybe if you have sore muscles from working out it might help but for arthritis it's a joke.

Pain Reliever 2007-01-29
BIOFREEZE is absolutely outstanding as a pain reliever.
I had sore muscles from doing a few home repairs the other day. I applied BIOFREEZE to the affected areas, and within 10 minutes, I could feel BIOFREEZE working, soothing those achy muscles down deep.
This product does not burn you, nor freeze you, in case you are wondering. It feels GREAT truth be known!
I highly recommend this product for people with sore muscles, or people with osteoarthritis pain.
