Cheap Plastic Not Made for Toddlers

Only a few hours after I had these installed my 20 month old first broke off the plastic points that come out (not safe since he can poke himself with it) and then broke the other side and opened the door. Cheap brittle plastic breaks right away. This product is unsafe and the manufacturer "Safety1st" should change its name to "Safetylastprofit1st".
