Jet quality

Here we go again;Jet quality. Like my Jet clamps, dust collector and remote starter only the highest quality you can imagine. So well worth the $19.99 price you should buy buy a couple. So far I'm very happy with Jet. I think I smell a bandsaw in my future.
Quality well built stand - RECOMMENDED

This stand is built solid with a easy to adjust height adjustment. The roller is padded with tough plastic so protects wood if that is important.
It is a basic well built roller stand I will use with my 6" & 12" planers and throughout my shop as needed. They fold up and pretty solid when in use. I purchase two of these, one for either side of the tool if needed.
The best part they were only $18.35 each. This is half the price of others available. I don't know what the other have this one doesn't. It doesn't matter these work fine.
Highly Recommended for what they are, what they are meant to do and do.
A Great Help

I purchased two adjustable roller stands. They work as designed very well. I have used them over and over again as I am remodeling our home. I us them with a table saw a chop saw a circular saw a jig saw, the uses are only limited by your own imagination. The price was outstanding. The only con I have had is if the legs are not spread all the way the stand tends to tip over. So just make sure the legs are spread all the way. I'm all and all very pleased with the purchase.
same price as I could get locally but, saved me a trip to the store

Product is first rate. After shipping it was the same price as what I could have purchased locally but, at least it saved me a trip to the store.
poor quality

Not a bad stand if you can find one that sits level. I've ordered three of these from Amazon, had to return two as defective. Disappointing. The last one to arrive had been opened and probably returned prior to it being sent to me. Amazon QC? Where is it?
Good Item, Less Than Good Customer Support

When I got the Roller Stand, it had a relatively minor defect. I contacted the company to get the info to fix it myself. They told me they didn't have the info, and to send it back. I figured out the fix (As I'm sure the company could have done.), and saved myself the hassle of returning the item. Too bad the company opted for the easy way out.
good price, but could be designed much better

The other reviews say pretty much everything, but here's my slant on it:
First of all, I have two of this particular model and one of another model I bought from harbor freight. The Jet stands don't have a knob to lock the legs in place to prevent it collapsing as you slide the longer boards in place. You can tighten the nut and accomplish this, but then you'll need your wrench to collapse it again. For most jobs, you can leave the pivot loose, but you'll get riled when you're balancing a 12 foot 2X8 and one of the stands folds up on you.
The point about the uneven legs is a good one. Even if the tool is made properly and sits solidly on a level surface, there are many times you'll need it where the surface is not level. This could be remedied by having the rubber pads on the feet so they were wider on one side and narrower on the other so that you could just turn and rotate the pad to make things level.
I had no quality problems with these rollers and they are indeed worth the small price.
A little sloppy

This stand will do the job, but it's going to be more trouble than it should. First, I found that the roller would barely turn. One of the ends of the metal bracket holding it was bent - I had to bend it out with vice-grips held in a bench vice. The bracket seems sturdy, so this should be a one-time fix. Next, I found that the stand won't sit level on the floor. One foot sits almost 1/8" off the ground, giving a big wobble. I'll have to cut or sand two of the other foot pads until it sits flat. They are not adjustable. The roller is quite out-of-round, too. I'm not sure if this will be enough to effect use of the stand or not. One last thing, more ironic than serious. The stand came wrapped in bubble wrap, but I immediately noticed that the wrap didn't extend between the folding legs. Sure enough, the weld holding on one of the foot pieces had scraped through the paint on the opposite leg. At least the bubble wrap protected the stand from the cardboard box :). After all that, I will say that the stand seems sturdy, folds compactly, and will probably work well once I get it to sit level.
Added: a couple of days later I received the second of two stands I had ordered. It sits level on the floor, so this one is much better than the first. Same paint scratch, and the roller is stiff due to a bent bracket, but not completely stuck like the first.
I'm buying another one

This roller makes ripping on a table saw much easier and safer. It would be good to have one for the end you feed from so you can concentrate on placement of the longer workpieces, not holding them up and feeding. It's like another set of hands. Lightweight and easy to adjust.
