Worked fine for my 50" Viera Panasonic 2008-06-02
Holds up the tv, has good tilt ( can fairly easily get to the inputs on the back when tilted up). Allows for a decent amount of tv placement adjustment after the plate is attached to the wall.

excellent product 2008-06-02
This is an excellent product. Easy to use, mount and install. The optional one touch tilt feature is great. This product worked very well with the Toshiba Model 52LX177, which weighs about 85 pounds (without the stand). This mount will hold a flat screen TV weighing 200 pounds or less. It is UL approved, which most all flat screen manufacturers will require. It also features the ability to lock in all settings once you are satisfied with the tilt angle, and to lock-in the brackets to the mount. All necessary hardware is included to hang a large array of other TV's with varrying weights. Highly recommended.

Reasonably Priced with the same quality hold 2008-05-21
This wall mount does the job. It was easy to install with multiply holes that you can line up with your studs. One problem we had with mounting it to the Sony Bravia 52" is that it said the arms that attach to the TV didn't need washers, however without them the arms were not snug -- we ended up using the washers provided for other models, plus 2 of our own as the lower holes were not as snug with one washer, but needed 2. But with those, it was super snug and fit great and hung very easily and securly on the wall. We did not choose to use the tilt feature, however it was available.

Not very handy to install or use... 2008-05-18
This unit unfortunately includes a "security" feature which means that hardware must be tightened using an enclosed "wrench," which is both cumbersome and totally impractical. The tilt system on the unit is not as easy to use as on other units, and adjustments must be made on both sides of the unit, requiring two people to access this feature. Peerless does make the same unit without the "special wrench" feature, and I would go out of my way to get that one next time.

Check Out the Peerless 670 for Larger LCD's - Spans Three Studs!! 2008-05-13
So glad I read the posts on Amazon. We took the advice offered by several reviewers regarding going up to the next size mount when mounting an over 50" LCD. We purchased the Peerless 670 which is actually rated for larger and heavier LCD's and plasmas. I investigated further and went to the [...] website and found that the larger mount was NOT recommended for our television. I called them on their toll free number and found out that indeed we could use the larger mount but it was not recommended on the website because it was not necessary to have such a large mount for a 52" lcd. The mount comes with tons of different screws and a tool that you use to put them in the back of your television as well as bolts, etc. The customer service person told me exactly which screws we had to use for our Sony and they worked perfectly! The wall mount spanned three studs (16" apart) perfectly! The mount allows you to move the television horizontally about 8" either way which came in great for centering it on the wall.

We hung our 52" Sony 52w3000 and and it went smoothly and was completed in less than 1.5 hours. We feel confident that this oversized and super strong bracket which is rated for holding up to a 250# television is more than adequate to hold our 95# LCD!

Again, thanks so much to the other reviewers for sharing this great bit of advice!!!

Great mount 2008-07-16
Worked perfectly on my Samsung 52"...had all the parts i needed.....set it up and mounted it in no time at all!! It did have great adjustments on the back too just in case your mounting isn't level...mine was off about an 1/8 of an inch, which was easily corrected on the back of the mounting unit!

Great product at a great price.....i couldn't be happier with all the audio/video equipment that i've purchased through amazon!!

Updated model-Easier to route cables 2008-07-10
I will recommend this model to anyone hanging a large screen LCD. I hung a Samsung LN52A650 and it was easy to hang the TV. This updated model has a larger space between the adjustable hanging brackets and makes routing the TV cords and cables an easy task. All different kinds of screws are included for mounting and the directions are well explained. Would recommend this mount to everyone.

A fine wall mount for an excellent price... 2008-07-07
All the professionals I spoke to recommended Peerless. To get this unit at the Amazon discounted rate was indeed a bonus. The only fault I found with the unit was that the instructions for drilling the holes placed my 58" plazma too high on the wall. It was a simple fix, thus the high rating.

Peerless Universal Tilt Wall Mount 2008-06-18
We have used Peerless products for TV's many times, but this is our first experience with a flat screen mount. Our main objection was the instructions. There was a "bolt" holding the tilt arm from moving prior to installation and no instructions on how to remove it. We finally got it off with some prying with pliers and screw drivers. The upper part of the bracket that attached to the TV had several holes to hold the screws going into the back of the TV, but the lower section was elongated ovals that we didn't feel gave as much support so we knew the TV wouldn't "move" on us. We finally got it hung, but had to put the TV a couple inches higher than we had planned due to the hole location.

For the future, I think it would be better to attach the brackets to the TV first - then put the wall brackets up so the TV hung at the level a person wanted.

All-in-all, a good product and a very fair price.

Easy to install and works great! 2008-06-05
We had a very tough wall to deal with (long story) but this wall mount made it easy to deal with and we quickly placed the wall mount and hung our 47" LCD all in one afternoon.
