Case Logice Classic DVD Wallet
2008-04-20
Our collection of DVD's has grown too much to continue to add cabinets. This is a great solution to our problem. You can take the DVD out of it's plastic case along with the paper description and slide them right into the pockets in the case. You save space and have the cover to describe the movie!

I love this product. It was great to finally get rid of the clutter of all the DVD movie boxes and have my movies in storage.

Love the case...even though i thought that it would hold more in the pages, instead of the inside cover slots.
ok but a little tricky

The wallet works great and sure cut all the clutter that my DVD collection was making. However I just wish that when you wanted to take a page out that you didn't have to take every page that precedes it out too. That can get to be a little bit of a pain. Other than that the wallet is alright and eliminates the need to keep the DVD case.
Great case

This case was just what I expected. it was well made and very functional. The ability to store both discs of a DVD was a nice touch. I have no complaints other than the zipper being a little difficult to use for the first time. Highly recommended.

I like that this case holds the DVD covers, but I DO NOT like the new binder design. It was much easier with the rings. Now that it has the plastic fold loops, you have to remove all the pages to insert or move other pages. It is very time consuming.
Comment on binding system

I've recently been putting my library in these Case Logic albums, and couldn't recommend them more. Specifically, however, I'd like to address comments below on difficulties with organization.
Yes, you do have to come up with a system by which the DVDs are organized: it is not as simple to rearrange these as it is to rearrange individual DVD cases on a shelf. But it is not as difficult as people might be led to believe from other comments. Yes, you can't open the binder at any point an insert a leaf. But on the other side, but this is a minor sacrifice considering the solidity of the binding mechanism. Especially in that it is very easy to put pages back in (you can easily put them back on the straps 5-8 at a time).
When I first purchased these, I saw comments like below and considered it a sacrifice I would have to make. But now that I have the albums in hand and are using them, it is a trivial sacrifice. It's actually quite easy to insert pages. Don't let those comments scare you off. This a great product.

Awful design, shop elsewhere

I bought this product when my old 3-ring single-DVD cases were unbearably overflowing. I actually bought it for video games, because it's the same thing as DVDs with thicker books, and the books are more relevant. As soon as I unzipped the case after taking it out of the Amazon box I knew this thing was designed by a complete failure. Seriously, anyone involved in the design of this product is likely a major contributor to global warming, human trafficking and whatever other evils you can think of, and needs to be locked away.
First of all, the openings for both DVDs and DVD inserts is on the outer edge of the sleeve, so by flipping a page or two your DVDs and inserts slip out with little effort on almost every page flip. The slots are a little oversized, so there's no friction holding your stuff in place. This flaw alone renders the product completely useless.
'What's inside survives' ... what exactly? A page flip? Not even.
Let's not talk about this two-strap business inside either, what a joke. These flimsy pieces of plastic hold the pages in, and if you want to reorganize them from time to time, well, go screw yourself because it will be a 2 hour long ordeal. And the casing, oh the casing must be the finest, flimsiest cardboard around, certainly tempered to keep your DVDs safe from... well, from ping pong balls and light gusts of wind.
If Amazon has a return policy this will be the first time I'll ever use it. This product is a giant sham, and Case Logic ought to simply fold up shop and call it a day because they can't seem to get anything right within the last few years.
If you're looking for a good binder for your DVDs and find one, please let me know, as I still have my DVDs in the OLD Case Logic binders that had three rings, overflowing... but surviving.

I have used a couple of different ways to store my DVDs and this one beats most of them. It is easy to look through and keeps the DVDs safe and contained. Nice display page for the insert as well.
