Not the best choice

The trimmer works better than the shaver which isn't saying much because the shaver doesn't work at all but the trimmer only seems to work if you take the plastic off. I don't recommend buying this product. it's not worth the money.
Panasonic Version is Better 2008-06-14
I had the Panasonic Bikini Shaper and Trimmer for a number of years. I kept the battery in it too long (didn't use it often) and it leaked so I had to throw it out. Couldn't find it in stores any longer so bought this Remington. It's terrible. The dial doesn't turn well and all the attachments.... sheesh. They're hard and complicated to snap on and off.
The Panasonic is so much easier to use. No dials to turn - you just adjust the 'comb' up and down for length or pull it off completely for closest shave. Simple!
I'm ordering the Panasonic again and throwing out the Remington.

this piece of equipment works well on all areas of the body. easy to adjust. takes normal batteries. easy to clean afterward. the comb can be removed for close trimming, easily. if you purchase this product i hope you enjoy it as much as i do!!
Beware! Use without guard = injury!!! 2008-03-13
I was extremely disappointed with this product. I recommend that you NEVER trim without the guard, especially inside the bikini line. This trimmer 'bites' sensitive areas and will cause bleeding/pain. The shaver attachment only works with stubble, nothing longer than 1/16th of an inch. Even with stubble it takes too many passes to completely shave areas.

This product is pretty puny. Definitely not for shaving, as I knew to begin with...but it hardly works for shaping and trimming either. I wouldn't recommend it.
Not Worth the Money 2007-10-01
This product is more of a trimmer for people with short hair on their heads, it is not ideal AT ALL as a bikini trimmer as advertised. The attachments are flimsy. The close shaver is sporadic / inconsistent. I got more razor burn with this than I did with a basic schick quattro for women. Not to mention it is to large to really work in the bikini area. I was really let down because of hte good reviews that I read as well as Remington being a good brand.
Shaves and trims. 2007-07-31
Great, compact trimmer that's easy to use. Just like the less expensive version (which I owned for about three years before it died) but also includes a shaver head. Having read reviews for the cheaper shaver-free model, let me quickly explain that the other one is just a trimmer and does not shave. This one DOES shave. So if you want to be able to trim as well as shave, fork out a few extra dollars for this model.
Wow! 2007-04-26
This lil beauty really does the trick. I can't believe they made a product designed for this delicate area that makes it nearly impossible to nick yourself. It's got several settings so that you can decide just how much you want to take off and even has a shaving attachment (just be sure not to use this product in the shower...get the Wet/Dry version for that!) Easy to use and also small enough to travel with you, it is lightweight and very easy to maneuver. It's even safe enough to use inside and underneath. One complaint: it is a bit loud! Kinda sounds like you're using a...well, you know. LOL. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone, whether your hair is coarse or fine. It's an excellent product for the money and you won't be disappointed.
Smooth shaving 2007-04-10
This little shaver does a big job. Bikini trimmer cuts close without pulling those tender shoots... Works better than the typical razor or those so called slim trimers. Very satisfied with my purchase.
A Great little little trimmer 2007-01-12
I have read reveiws before i bought it that said the trimmer "pinches" or cut people, but i haven't found that to be the case. I wouldn't use it in ultra sensitive places (but i try not to use anything sharp and potentially dangerous near sensitive areas) but it does the trick quite well. I have really enjoyed it and think it functions really well for a good price. It also has an attachment to be a regukar shaver (which wasn't advertised when i bought it) but worked well on my legs; not as great as some more expensive electric leg shavers but is great when you don't have much time. All in all i suggest buying it.
