One of the best out of 10 Amazon "sling seat" listings, most of which seem identical.

I give 5 stars to this listing because Target seems one of the best suppliers, and is now an Amazon partner. However another reviewer said Target failed to make an expedited shipment properly. So you might want to try MedSupplyStation, which might have better service. See below. Here are my findings of the best listings for walking cane seats at Amazon.
* $35 + 7 Travelon Cane Seat from World Traveler. Returns within 30 days, no restocking fee. An almost-elegant cane that happens to have a sturdy 3-legged seat. This is the only one of this type that is good quality. Highly recommended. See my review there.
The hammock-style "sling seat" has 4 legs and may be more comfy for sitting. However pay attention to the returns policies. This is sold mostly by medical supply companies, who tend to think of customers as invalids who have no option except to buy from them. All have a 250 pound capacity and almost all seem to be the same seat made by Drive Medical. Here are the best listings.
* $23 + 8 Cane sling seat from Target. Returns within 30 days, no restocking fee. Our local Target pharmacy said they can not order this item, it is online only. Thus you may not receive customer support from Target, but they are in partnership with Amazon.
* $22 + 8 Cane Sling Seat from MedSupplyStation. Returns within 30 days, no restocking fee, according to "Daniel" per phone call, June 16, 2008. Daniel also told me this is the same as their other listings for $25+9, $24+8, $23+8. They make a new listing when the price changes and sometimes the old listing is not deleted. So, just take the lowest price.
* $43 + 10 Cane Sling Seat from Medical Supply Group. Returns within 30 days, no restocking fee. This is the only listing not made by Drive Medical, but by "Mountain Properties". It has good reviews so just maybe it is worth paying twice the price. (Then again, maybe it is the same seat with a different label.)
Honorable mention: $38 + 0 Cane Sling Seat from Bethman Sales. Returns within 14 days, no restocking fee.
10% - 20% restocking fees. The following companies have no regard for the fact that internet orders are sight unseen. In addition to your paying shipping both ways, they want a restocking fee for their precious time. Not surprisingly they also generally charge high prices.

I refused this shipment. I paid for next day air and they shipped it a week later - TOO LATE!!!! I refused delivery and am still waiting for a credit to my account.
