Good PS

This is a good Power Supply, it's more than enough to support my computer (Core2Duo 2Ghz, DVD-Recorder, 2Gb RAM, GeForce 8600 GT "Overclocked").
If you don't want problems with your computer, this is a nice call.

I read all other reviews before purchasing this product, looked for other products that were of equal value and equal quality. Every other product I looked at for this price was commented on as being noisy and we cant have that! I upgraded my power supply because my new Graphics card required an upgrade. My biggest fear was that i would not have all the connectors that i needed and after doing some research to be familiarized with the lingo i was very happy indeed to find that this was a perfect fit for me. It is not noisy and has many molex connections (9). If you have SATA Hard Disk Drive and SATA Optical drive you will need some molex to SATA connectors. This was the case for me but my computer already had them so i just used the ones that were already being used by the old power supply. While it does have 2 SATA connectors you cannot use them with both a HDD and Optical Drive cause they are run from the same wire (piggy backed) and are only 3 inches apart (optimal for 2 Optical Drives).
My last computer had a really loud Power supply and my current computer came with a silent one so i have seen the best and worst...and when you know what silent is you dont want to go back to a loud Powere supply.
BTW- I called Thermaltake to get some specs and talk to them about this product before I bought it and they were very helpful (tech support), answered all my questions and went beyond what it took to make me feel comfortable about buying this product.
Great inexpensive power supply! 2008-07-28
I installed this PS in my Dell 8300. Had to cut away some of the sheet metal so that I could expose the power switch but other wise install was straight forward. There are a bunch of cables and connectors for all sorts of accessories and can potentially crowd your PC but otherwise it's fine. Runs quietly, in fact, much quieter than the stock unit. For the price I paid it's hard to complain!

I purchased the Thermaltake W0070rUC power supply as a replacement for the failing power supply in my eMachines T3256 desktop computer. The power supply fit into the computer fine and works very well. It appears to be a very high build quality, very quiet, and has a large number of power connectors and more than sufficient cable length. I highly recommend this power supply and you cannot beat Amazon's price!
just what I wanted 2008-06-11
I wanted an ATX power supply to replace mine that failed on an older (300W)system. Received it faster than expected, it was beautifully packaged and fit right into my case. I bought this increased power anticipating upgrading my computer. It was just what I wanted and so far works fine after a few weeks.
Thermaltake Power Supply 2008-05-22
This power supply is great. Comes with two fans and plenty of power cables. I have it running a 2700+ AMD Athlon. It works flawlessly. Would definitely by again and recommend to anyone wanting a good power supply at a great price.
Amazingly Quiet! 2008-05-16
I bought this to replace an old 230W power supply that started making noise.
The dual fan set up is extremely quiet. I was expecting something a tad louder then what I had even though I read others reviews. Everybody is correct.
The wires are neatly bundled with mesh conduit. It does make them a bit more stiff but it is not a problem.
You can't really beat the price. And with 430W there is room to grow.
