It is accurate but if your weight changed within one minute and measured twice within one minute, it cannot be accurate at the second measure.

I bought this scale because I wanted an accurate scale to replace my current analog one. For my disappointment, it only works in extremely perfect flat surfaces. It gives random reading otherwise. Sometimes the reading is off by as much as 50 pounds. I got it like a month ago and I'm already looking to buy a different one.
Accuracy does not match what they say

Ok, I was expecting 0.2 lb of error. But the scale is off by AT LEAST 2 lb (and up to 5 lb!) when compared to cheap scales (and I compared to some 4 different scales). They say that the accuracy is +/- 0.2 lb, but I guess one can only achieve that on a perfect surface, which is almost never the case. This is what they do not say in the product description. And there is not an adjustment in the scale to correct this offset, so one can only hope that the scale comes calibrated from the factory. I will call Taylor to see what they have to say. Not to say that I did not say something nice, it is a beautiful scale.

I have had this scale for about 8 months now and it works just as great as it did the day I got it. I have compared it to my old analog scale a couple times and it has always been right on. It has remained consistent. My husband and I use it about twice a day each and I've only had to replace the battery once. Definitely a great looking and reliable scale.

This is a beautiful piece of decoration in my bath room. The scale is really not accurate at all.
You stepped on the scale in sucession you will get TWO totally different numbers. Sad but true.
