Beautiful platform bed made of solid, Pennsylvania Red Oak and finished with a hand-rubbed, Danish Oil finish. This sleek, contemporary design is both simple and stylish. But most importantly, the heavy duty construction (1 1/4" thick legs) and steel harware (with a bronze finish) means this bed will quite literally last for generations. While easy to assemble, it can be taken apart and reassembled again and again - A Great Bed for those on the move! The 15 inch platform bed height is perfect for either a futon or mattress (no boxspring necessary). In addition, the 10 1/2 inch underbed clearance provides ample storage space below. Quality American Made Platform Oak Beds

When I ordered the item, it was out of stock. A gentleman from their company promptly telephoned me the day after I made the purchase to apologize and explain an alternate ship date. He was very polite and courteous. I received the bed exactly when they promised on the telephone. The bed is easy to set up. My room smells like fresh wood. The danish oil finish is attractive and you can't beat the price!!! It is so nice to purchase something that is superbly manufactured and made in the U.S.A. Not only do you get an exceptional product, but you are supporting a local company. Plus, it really does look great.

I was quite happy with my new bed! It's sturdy and nicely finished. It was easy to put together no tools needed. The only down side that I found is at one of the intersections of the side board and foot board the holes to attach with the screw weren't completly lined up so it was a little tricky. But overall I think I made the right choice, I had been searching for the right platform bed for months, and this bed was the best for the cost!
