The first time using it hurts really bad, after that it hurts but not as bad. On sensitive areas like the back of the knee or inner thigh I would not recommend using it. It hurt REALLY bad. If you can get past all that, it works really well!

I bought this item from amazon.com. There is no missing part.
It works well on legs and armpits without much pain.
But it's better not to use on face or other parts because
it is more painful.
Norelco - the great hair remover 2005-09-24
I was still using an Epilady I bought 20 years ago - it had the old "screen door spring" technology for pulling hair, so I had no idea what these "blades" were. I am very pleased with the Norelco and its new system, it is much more efficient than the old puller and the pain is the same. The only negative comment I have is that it arrived without the loofa and cleaning brush, but Amazon took care of it.

The product is very good, the only matter is that had a missing item on the delivery, so I didn`t receive the brush.

This is a great product for removing unwanted hair. It works best on legs, arms, and under arms. But the product package is missing the loofah and the brush which Amazon does not replace!

I have used an EpiLady (works with a spring instead of tweezer disks) for about 5 years and the adapter recently died. I decided to try the Norelco to see if it works better.
The Norelco is better at removing underarm hair, but I found the EpiLady was quicker at removing leg hair (it covers a larger area)
My Norelco did not come with the stated loofah and cleaning brush. I returned it to Amazon and received another Norelco which also didn't have these 2 items. I don't know if this is a problem with Norelco or if people are returning the product to Amazon and they're not checking to make sure everything is in the box...
Overall, I am happy with the Norelco. It does what it claims to do and is a lot less expensive than other epilators.
