Love It!!

My toddler absolutely loves this. He cannot sit still for us at all except watching this video. He dances and claps. The kids in the video are all enthusiastic. Great DVD.

Sophisticated and Fun, Cool and Funky

My daughter has loved to watch and listen to Dan Zanes since she was about 12 months old! And I actually watch and listen with her. What I like about Dan Zanes and Friends is how they celebrate childhood. It's not "dumbed down" stuff for kids -- it's sophisticated and fun, cool and funky. My daugther also LOVES the animated videos. She loves the art work. This is not necessarily kids music -- it's FAMILY music.

We heard about Dan Zanes from some friends and I kind of rolled my eyes -- I wasn't going to be that parent playing annoying kids music. This is not that kind of music and not that kind of video. Any parent who wants to foster an appreciation of music should check out this DVD! Any parent who wants to entertain their child for a bit should check out this DVD.

We like this video a lot. It is a live concert taping and has a little different sound then what you see on television. My kids sing and dance in the back of the car and ask for more.

The Dan Zanes and Friends' dvd "All Around the Kitchen" is awesome. My 2-year old daughter requests it every morning (and in the afternoons, and in the evenings). She walks up to me or my wife and says "More Dan Zanes, please!" It's a wonderful dvd that's great for the whole family, and not just for the kids. We usually watch it a couple times a day. I hope that Dan Zanes releases another dvd soon!

Disappointed!!

We love Dan Zanes and know him from Playhouse Disney. This DVD was nothing like what he portrays on the Disney Channel.

I can sing all the songs by heart 2008-04-14
Sure, my husband and I like this DVD a lot, but the opinion of our son is the one that really matters. Does the fact that he jumps up and down shouting, "Dan Zanes! Dan Zanes!" mean anything to you? Or that he now knows all the musicians and their instruments and can jam on his own toy guitar along with the songs? Dan Zanes and Friends have helped spark in our toddler a love of music and a joy in creating it. As parents, we're not too big on having our son watch TV, but this DVD is definitely on the "approved" list.

Fun for the whole family! 2008-03-29
My whole family loves this dvd. We are huge fans of Dan Zanes and Friends and think that this is a great group of some of our favorite songs! There aren't a ton of songs on the concert half of the dvd but D.Z. is going for quality not quantity and if you still want some more of your faves click on the "videos" choice on the menu after you are finished with the concert. Two thumbs up for this dvd! It really is a family favorite it our home!

Entertaining! 2008-03-10
This product wasn't really what I was expecting, but my boys loved it. They love the music and videos. It makes them get up and dance. The only thing is that I was hoping to have more of the music from the Disney Channel that made us fall in love with Dan Zane on this DVD. A few of my kids' favorites were missing. But, it's definitely worth buying if your children like wacky musical songs and wacky musical characters.

I bought this DVD for my daughter's 2nd birthday and she just LOVES it! She asks me to play "shake shake" for her all of the time! It is so cute to watch my daughter dance and sing while she is watching this DVD. We also ended up buying our daughter two if the audio CD's because she love Dan Zanes so much!

Great DVD for all ages! I like the music as well.
