Great for Motorcyclists

As a person with two motorcycles I was always searching for a way to easily open and close my garage door on my bike. I stumbled across this little gadget and haven't looked back since. It attached easily to your keychain, has a strong signal and is programmable for up to 3 doors. Now I don't even have to stop my bike to open the garage door. I just slow, reach down to the ignition, hit the button and roll on in. The large main button is even easy enough to hit with gloves on. Highly recommended..

I have had this almost a year, still works fine, battery still good. It is on my key chain and goes in my pocket every day. One reviewer complained about the buttons being pushed by accident when in your pocket. Well, yes if you have a bunch of keys this is possible, but short of a 2 handed activation system* or a cover*, they are all going to have this issue. This one is the best and smallest design I have seen so far. The largest button is the most exposed and likely to be pressed. However, it is flush with the face (all 3 are), but due to size, other items in your pocket could depress / activate it. I only have 1 door, so I choose to only use the smallest button and I have had only 1 event of an accidental opening in 1 year, even with 2 sets of keys in my pocket. *That being said, it would be a nice option to have a button that had a slide cover or the option to require 2 buttons to be pushed at the same time. Solution: Once your door is closed, take your keys out of your pocket and put them on the dresser etc.. Put the opener on a separate ring if needed. Also, if you are really concerned, they make a product that indicates inside your home whether your garage door is open or closed.

Love it! Good packaging, fast shipping. I actually have three vehicles and only two remotes, so I'm constantly playing "musical remotes." And I'd considered the fact that, with a car in the driveway, all someone has to do is break into the car to lift the door, and they've got access to my house! EEEK! So with these, putting one on each vehicle's keychain, it's a super easy and convenient way to make sure you have a remote with you, and that it's not easily accessible to just anyone who knows how to slimjim a lock!
A Great Product 2007-06-19
I lost my big bulky remote and was really happy when I came across this tiny one at the hardware store. It's a great size, extremely easy to program, worked the very first try, and the price isn't too bad.

Despite Amazon's product description, this gadget will open three different garage doors, one for each button. About the size of a car door clicker, it has good range and works great.
