Decent bed for an affordable price

I was really skeptical about pine in a bedframe type furniture. However, after using it for the last two week I am impressed, so far everything looks fine. I do have to contact the seller since one of the crossbar was cracked during shipment/manufacturing, but the customer service was amazingly nice and sent a replacement in two days. I finished the raw pine with mahogany stain and minwax topcoat, however my suggestion is just use danish oil. The effort needed to finish pine is not worth in terms of final result.
The vertical side rails attached to the headboard crossbar does not seems to be very well made, that is the reason I am giving it a 4*.
After using it for some time, I am facing a big problem out the protruding legs, that you realize on your way only when hitting hard on them. The size of the bed does not give you an idea of it's bottom parts and hence take some good amount of time in getting used to the painful hits in leg.
