It was supposed to protect my screen but instead a speck of dust got under the screen and scratched up the glass. Do yourself a favor and get a peel on/off screen protector.

I payed $10 for this product. At first I was pleased with the product, but after a month, my screen was damaged and still is. In fact a crack appeared as a result of the "screen protector". Please do yourself a favor and avoid this product.

I am very happy with this and the people I bought it from. Very fast service and this is exactly what I wanted. Still looking for some screws to hold it on the PSP a little better. Don't get me wrong it won't move I just want to make sure it doesn't move.

Works ok with PSP slim, but is intended for the fullsize PSP

I bought this for my PSP slim and lite (PSP-2000), and while it works, this product was intended for the fullsize PSP. If you accidentally nudge one of the bottom catches while playing a game, it can send the protector flying (literally). While humorous, this does not help to protect the screen as the flying screen protector could boomerang back and hit the handheld.

However, after getting used to have the screen protector on the slim and lite, I no longer "eject" the protector. Also, there is still a small gap between the protector and the handheld case, potentially allowing dust to get between the screen and protector. Overall, for X dollars, it does the job.

A warning

This isn't a review as much as a warning to all who are interested in the PSP Visor along with the PSP PlayGear Pocket(Amazon states "better together" the PlayGear Pocket) for the ultimate protection for their PSP. Please, pick either one only. This does not fit with the PlayGear Pocket, contrary to what Amazon says.

The Visor is actually quite good...but between the PlayGear Pocket and the Visor, I'll go with the Pocket, but both are made of quality.

Does a pretty decent job of staying in place and providing a nice cover for the screen without making it cumbersome to use the controls. Not bad at all for a cheaper, easier way to protect only your PSP screen.

PlayGear Visor / PlayGear Pocket Mods Mark II

Yuppers the cut away the rubber works great, however i took my mod a step further. i use my PSP as a MP3 player in my car. and nothing is more annoying than trying to find a song with the pocket case closed. i mean the shoulder buttons are great for navigation, but you can't see the screen! well the visor makes a great template to cut a view port. sharpie + exacto knife + steady hand = happy

Visor gets scratched

The plastic Play Gear Visor scratches very easily.

That is, of course, better than your PSP screen getting scratched, but the visor SHOULD be made of less scratch-prone material.

I am an older adult gamer, and take good care of my "toys", and still have managed to scratch up 2 of these things!

WE purchased the PSP playgear visor for one of our family member.
I found this product to be worth getting for your PSP. It is easy to put on, it is even better than the one that you stick on the screen.
I would recommemd this product to everyone that has a PSP. It is easy to clean. Go out and purchase the PSP playgear visor for your PSP.
