Know what you need...

This product works well as designed. I work in a cube where i have to look up sunlight on the internet to remind myself. At my desk, I get no XM signal as you'd imagine.
There are 2 parts to this product, a signal amplifier, and a signal receiver (which is also sold separately). Simply connect an antenna (not included) to the amp, then the receiver connects to the antenna port of the radio at my desk.
I use a portable pioneer innio, and used the home docking station at my desk with the receiver plugged into that, and the amp is in a nearby conference room with the antenna from my home kit connected to it and propped in a window.
My co-workers could get the receiver part only and connect to my amp with no setup at all as long as they were in range.

The device I have received does not work. I see absolutely no difference in the reception quality with/without the device. It looks to me it is broken. This is the second time I am experiencing a problem with devices ordered online which are not factory sealed.

The ad blurb stated 75ft thru walls and floors but the lit in the package made it clear that this was for line of site use. You're better off buying an extension for your antenna.

does what it said it would do with no problems at all. i am a draftsman by trade and need to listen to my news, sports and music. the set up was easier than ever and reception is great. nice price for complete unit.
Works great... 2008-03-10
Saved me the trouble of snaking antenna cable across my house. Works perfectly. Full signal strength, no interference from/with other wireless devices. Granted, it's only transmitting a total of 15ft, but it solved the problem in my case. FYI: The existing antenna for my Delphi unit does NOT work thru double-pane thermal low-E glass. I had to mount it outside to get any signal.
The only way that I can listen to XM in my home 2008-07-25
I am really glad that I found this item. I recently set up Xm radio in three rooms of my home. I could only pick up signal in one room, because it was the only room facing the proper direction. I purchased this and an additional antenna and now I can listen to the radio in all three rooms. My husband did have to play with were to set it so that we could pick up the best reception. Now and then, we do have trouble with static, but overall I am very pleased.
Great Product 2008-07-24
This product works like a charm. Easy set-up. I installed this item at my work so that I could listen to XM at my cubicle, so I installed the antenna and repeater in the South Facing Window nearest to me (in the break room). My cubicle is approximately a straight 70' away through two walls. The reception turned out excellent. It is a blessing to have XM introduced into my work place.

I purchased the Delphi XM Signal Repeater so that I could receive the signal internally within my home at a location remote from a southern facing window. So far, I have not had any problems with the device transmitting the signal or interference with my wireless home network. It is easy to install, no switches or network setting to worry about. It does have a signal strength adjustment button but that is the only adjustable item. You basically connect the XM signal antennae to the wireless router and connect the repeater transmitter to your SKyfi 3 cradle and that's it. The SKyfi3 will let you know if you are getting a signal or not and even provide an indication of the signal strength. This is a great alternative for locating you XM device internally within your home.

This product was everything I hoped it would be. My XM radio can now play from anywhere in my house.
When I purchased my XM radio it was primarily for my car but what I soon realized was that I don't spend all my time in my car.
I started looking around for a "docking station" so I could use my radio in the house as well. I settled on the Delphi Sound System and couldn't wait to get it home. My disappointment hit the minute I turned on the "docked" radio and saw that I could not get a signal.
Searching around the internet I realized that this was a common problem that could be solved with a signal repeater.
Amazon to the rescue once more. They had the repeater, the price was the best I could find and I had just received a $10 gift certificate so it was a no brainer.
Once the new repeater was positioned correctly, the portable soundsystem can play from anywhere in my house!!!
I reccommend this product to anyone who is hooked on their XM radio.
Delphi signal repeater works great 2008-07-06
I opened the package, plugged it in and it worked great right from the start. It only took a minute to aim the antenna for the best reception. The satellite is on the back side of my house and my docking station is in the front area of the house. Signal is very stong, no problems whatsoever. I recommend it to anyone that prefers not to set up their docking station where the satellite reception it.
