Nice Table and Chair Set, but...

First, let me say that my granddaughter loves this set. It's very functional and the fact that she can store her drawings and crayons in the desk is great.

The down side was that it arrived with the bottom of the desk broken off. It looks like a combination of the glue on a painted surface, the staples penetrating too far, and the parts shifting during shipping caused the part to fail. It wasn't a serious problem, and I had the desk repaired by a friend because of a lack of time to send the set back. A little better quality control might have prevented this. I didn't check the reviews, and I don't know if this is a common problem.

Shipping was a little expensive due to the weight of the set, and that was another reason that I didn't send it back.

This may be an isolated incident, so I would say check the reviews...If I'm the only one that has had this problem, than I'd say get one and your child will love it.
