Junk, Doesn't work most of the time!

This product is total crap. I get intermittent charges which require you to unplug and plug back in...and even then it doesn't work. I thought perhaps the cable was bad, but I plugged it into my computer and it charged just fine with no problems. The power unit itself indicates with a red light that it is receiving power from my car, but when I plug in the USB cable to charge my iPod...it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Really annoying. Get a Belkin cable. Never had problems with them. AVOID THIS!!!

Mine arrived in tact but never worked. After the unreasonably high shipping price to get it to me, I decided that it wasn't worth it to pay to ship it back and then pay to ship another one. You might think, as a bargain hunter, that you're getting a deal here, but you're not. You're just buying a total piece of flimsy trash.

Mis-advertised product 2008-07-26
Annoyingly, AFTER I bought this cable--after it was confirmed, and shipped to me, and arrived, and I attempted to use it with my new iPhone 3G (only to get a "this device is not supported by iPhone" message and an alarmingly loud and persistent beeping from the iPhone) did the vendor change the item name and description to state that it is not compatible with the iPhone 3G. Yes, I get that NOW it says the correct information, but it was mis-advertised when I bought it. Grr.

Worked for one day and then died 2008-07-07
I guess I was just the unlucky one, as others posted that it worked for them for 6 months so far with no problems, etc., but for me it stopped working after one day.
After one day, it the red light that indicates iPod's being charged doesn't go on anymore. That's pretty much all there's to it.. I guess I should've known better than to buy at this price. Lesson learned!
