Not accurate

I bought this scale because I wanted something accurate. It isn't. For example, today the measurement varied (in 30 seconds) by 0.4 pounds. I was also curious as to how a minor movement in position on my hard, level, bathroom floor would affect it. It went from 175.8 to 177.4. Maybe higher-priced Tanita scales are accurate, but this one goes back to Target, which is the vendor (not Amazon).
Simple reliable scale

I was looking for a new bathroom scale because my old one gave absurdly different readings from day to day. I didn't want the fancy features on many scales, I just wanted to know my weight. Got this one and it works fine; no more wild fluctuations from day to day. The display is not very easy to read when you are standing on the scale (its an LCD, not very large, without backlight) but it continues to show the reading for 5 seconds or so after you get off, so you can bend over and get a closer look after you get off, if need be. The instructions say to "tap" the scale to initialize it, but what it really needs is a good solid press or push on top.
