My son absolutely loves this toy. The bright colors are fun for him and for me. He loves to watch the moving parts and the lights. He likes to dance to some of the more upbeat songs. He recently has begun exploring the toys. He seems to prefer the small mirror toy. I also added Tiny Love's chimes and Lamaze's Jaques the Peacock toy to give him some choices. He kicks the chimes constantly.

this fantastic play gym has been an absolute lifesaver! it has made tummy time so much easier due to the fantastic colors and textures of the mat itself. it has everything my daughter loves, movement, colors, contrast, lights, textures, toys, mirrors, and especially, music! definately worth every penny!

This playmat gym is awesome. It's very durable and comes with a storage bag. I take it with us when we go to visit family. It's wonderful my daughter loves it. Everything grabs her attention, the colors, the mirror and the toys. I love the fact the it has the spinning mobile and the music isn't only instumental. Some of it is but there's a song or two with words and it'll pay a song then stop for a second and say little things like "Hello Baby!" and it giggles a little. My daughter always gets a kick out of it when it does that. I would recomend this to anyone!!

[...] It is much more interactive than the standard play mats/gyms under which babies just lay and swat at various toys...this wonderful toy has moving parts with attached bold patterns and a mirror and lights that the baby can look up at and follow with their eyes...the music is wonderful too...very soothing with classical music...it plays continually for around 8 minutes or so....my 13 weeks old loves to be under this mobile gym several times a day and often makes great sounds of joy while looking at himself in the mirror or watching the lights/moving parts/patterns revolve slowly above him.
I have another standard activity mat given to me by a friend but he grows very bored with it....
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this toy...even at full price it is worth every penny!
The bottom mat is machine washable and dries quickly in the sun (I have quite the spit-up and drooly baby boy!) so that is another nice feature.
Assembly is super quick and could be put together by a 5 year old.

I have a child with autism and another with a developmental disability, so with my newborn, it was important to me to have something that would help him with the fundamentals of baby development.
This gym is the best we've found. The built in mobile at the top of this is so great. It helps a baby develop eye coordination as they follow the hanging objects as they slowly glide around at a gentle pace. My baby especially loves the ladybug. The mirror is also a great developmental help as the child looks at his own face and facial expressions. The music is nice too. It has a woman's voice that every so often says "Hello baby!". The female voice starts it with a song 'hello sunshine hello day, hello baby time to play..etc. etc.' The music has some classical pieces. Around the center mirror are colored lights that gently glow on and off. There are three dangling down toys that you can adjust to different hights up and down the arms of the tripod. I position my baby with his feet centered on one tripod leg so that when he kicks, he can kick one of the dangling toys. He loves it.
I've taken these toys on car rides and easily hook them on the headrest rods for the baby to look at in the car while they're facing the back of the seat.
The patterns on the mat are very eye appealing and there's some different textures. I like the wipeability of the mat and when I pick up the baby I gently grab the baby's legs and slide him out towards me...he finds that fun.
Assembly was easy enough for my ten year old to do for me.

This toy has all the bells and whistles that a new baby needs.
It is well worth the money and you child will love it. If it is not the mirror or the lights it is something else your child can play with.
I highly recommend it.
Educational and versatile 2006-11-29
What I like best about this gym is that it is really versatile without being overwhelming. I introduced this to my daughter when she was 10 wks and it has really held her attention (it's been a month). I felt like I could see her learning as she explored the shapes, patterns, textures and colors. It's great for both back and tummy time, with detachable pieces (happy face with crinkle wings, bird with mirror belly, more!!) and an independent colorful mat (which is easily machine washable!) The center underside has a mirror and petals that rotate slowly, along with catchy music that can be turned off! We use it all the time, yet the versatility keeps it fresh!

My grandson enjoys it very much. He especially likes the mirror feature with the lights. The music isn't to our taste, so we mostly leave it off, but he really likes to kick and pull on the hanging toys. It was a two-month birthday gift, and he is now 11 weeks and uses it every evening.
Gianna Loves her Magical Mobile Gym! 2006-07-31
I recently purchased this for our 3 month old grandbaby and she loves it. I first purhased another brand and she was completly bored with it. After researching the gyms on Amazon, this one was our choice. It was easy to assemble and when she laid under it, her little eyes filled with wonder and she smiles, cooed and began to giggle. My daughter uses it with Gianna every day and she loves it too. I highly recommend this product..it's colorful, stimulating and fun for your baby!
