Works for a while, then watch out 2008-05-28
I bought this mouse a couple years ago. Worked fine for about 9 months then started cutting out now and then. Talked with Targus directly and after trying all they asked me to do to see if it'd work again, they sent me out a new mouse. Now just over a year after getting the new one the mouse is not working again. Come to find out there are wires that travel through the part that pivots on the receiver and the wires have been cut from repeated normal wear-and-tear use. Have a call into service department to see what they can do about it. Would not recommend this for everyday use.

Do not buy. 2008-03-22
This mouse worked for about 3 months before failing. If you only need it for short-term use, then it's a good buy. Don't buy it if you want a mouse that will last any longer.

goood 2008-01-18
I bought one month ago and fond very good, the battery charge last longer than I thought.

Like it, but there is a design flaw 2007-11-06
I've got two of these mice and like them. On the positive side is the size and shape of the mouse. Also a nice feature in my mind is that the rechargeable batteries are standard AAA so they wouldn't be expensive to replace if they wore out. The batteries are chared via an included cable that plugs into the mouse front and a USB port. You can use the mouse while it charges.

The receiver and mouse are somehow keyed to each other so I marked the bottom of one set to keep things straight.

The design flaw is that the hinged receiver has the four USB wires flexing when the hinge is moved. One of my pair had a wire break. I'll probably wire it up to a spare USB cable but I expect the other to fail at some point for the same reason.

Mouse worked great for about a year and then the USB Receiver started to act up. Only working when it was in a unique position.

I like it well enough to order a replacement USB Receiver part. Hope it works as well as it has in the past for another year or more.

Worth every penny! 2007-04-15
I bought this for my Dell 1505 laptop and I could not be happier with it. The greatest thing about this mouse is that you can recharge so you hardly don't ever have to change the batteries and you can charge it while still using it through the USB drive (it took up both USB drives though) and it can only charge while the computer is turned on. It also has an on/off switch which is also nice for transportation. The mouse is a very nice size - small enough to transport but still big enough to use easily. Fits perfectly into the grasp of your hand. I can't really say anything bad about this product - I'm very happy with it.
