software buggy, crashes XP 2008-07-02
My wife experienced months of intermittent blue screen crashes after installing the mouse's accompanying Logitech SetPoint version 4.24 software on a Lenovo T60 laptop running Windows XP SP3. I kept the machine fully updated via ThinkVantage and Windows Update; swept for spyware, defragged, etc., but sporadic crashes continued, for example, when coming out of Standby. She was able to tolerate this until XP began crashing with blue screens every 21 minutes! The fix was to deinstall SetPoint, and to revert to a wired mouse. No more crashes. Outside of the deal-breaker Logitech software, we liked the mouse; ergonomics, tracking, and battery life were fine. If you search the online support forums, you'll find many other users complaining of serious problems using SetPoint, and an apparent lack of responsiveness from Logitech.

I like the VX-Nano & LX7 better 2008-06-06
I bought this as I thought I had Bluetooth on my primary notebook, then later confirmed it did not. So I went ahead and bought the Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - the one with the ultra tiny receiver. I love the Nano, it's great and I can program the extra buttons for my game. Anyway, I finally got around to buying a Bluetooth adapter for another notebook and tried out the V270 mouse. I didn't like the feel nor the response - and this was for regular usage not for gaming. So I put the old cordless Microsoft one back on that notebook.

I don't know if I will ever use this V270 mouse - maybe for a very short time as a backup for if and when one of the other two ones I use break. Think I will stick to the VX-Nano next time I buy a mouse, hopefully they will make a Bluetooth edition of that. Another good cordless mouse is the Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse- Dark Silver. I use that one at work all day long. The LX7 has programmable buttons, which I use in my browser and other programs. I think Logitech would be better off offering Bluetooth versions of their other 'real' mice than this one.

Rated 2 stars for feel, response, and the fact that Logitech has better mice than this model (some in the same price range).

One of the best wireless mouse 2008-05-24
I use this mouse for my mac book. Its great because the mac book has built-in blue tooth and you don't need to have an external dongle. It has long life battery, it has high resolution and long range. And oh, the batteries uses just common AA--easy to find. Cold Eyes

Amazing mouse from Logitech 2008-05-24
LOVE this little bluetooth mouse. perfect size for home or travel. back button would be cool for browsing, but otherwise perfect device. And the battery life is awesome. Logitech still makes the best mice. Microsoft has some decent ones too. This is the best wireless one i have ever owned.

Excellent everyday-use mouse 2008-05-01
I love this mouse. It's small, but comfortable to use. The sensitivity is wonderful and battery life is excellent. If you can get your hands on one, don't hesitate.

You can safely ignore other people's gripes about the mouse's tendency to sleep--it's not inconvenient at all, and it saves a ton of battery.

Too bad it is discontinued 2008-03-17

Great mouse for Mac running on Leopard 2008-03-08
I have been using the mouse for over 3 months now, and have never had a problem. I'm still running on the same batteries (alkaline ones)

Installation was not a problem and took no more than five minutes

The only small drawback I can think of is the fact that before logging in to one of my accounts I need to use the mousepad on my mac, since the mouse takes a little while to work

Great mouse 2008-02-24
I love this mouse! I'm using it right now and it has never given me any problems. A feature that I love that I "discovered" is that, with Firefox, pressing the scroll wheel puts any web page into auto-scroll mode. Nice for reading the paper.

Average bluetooth mouse 2008-02-18
An average product with unimaginative design and ergonomics. The Radtech product line of bluetooth mice look better, are more ergonomic, some recharge from the USB port, and are color matched for the current line of Apple products. For a desktop computer, the Microsoft Optical Mouse fits best in my hand; it is wireless but not bluetooth.

Very pretty but eat batteries 2008-02-17
I had it for almost a year, and i got tired of being replacing batteries all time.
