Wouldn't want to be without it...
2008-06-20
I certainly wouldn't doubt that it's one of those products that might not work (just maybe) but for me who has had no problems (whatsoever) - it's a dream come true. I walk into my room and the light goes on - I can have my hands full or not... I've even given it out as Christmas presents and have set it up for people who are in the health care business, providing a nice warning system for when a "patient" get's up at night "unsupervised".
They sell the product at a local hardware store - I would without a second thought (for the money they charge for it) buy it and of course replace it with another if it didn't work.... Thinking to myself that sooner or latter I've got to find one that works... But - I've had no problem "at all" with the ones that I bought...
Fun To Have
2008-03-01
Probably one of the best inventions since the light bulb. Its funny that I thought of this idea 20yrs ago and wondered why nobody put it on the market. This should of been out years ago. Anyway, these are fun to have. I have one in the bathroom with a small light over the commode plugged in to it. Works great for those nights when I'm half asleep and cant find the light switch. I don't want a bright light on anyway just to take a quick tinkle in the night. :) And with a light aimed at your target, you cant miss. Guys, this thing just could save your relationship. lol! Use your imagination.
500 watts?
2007-10-22
I would have loved it, but after about 5 days with a string of christmas lights that made into a palm tree on it, the fuse blew and it stopped working. I read the back of it and it said it only handles 500w (exactly what the palm tree was)
Good, but not light sensitivity adjustment
2007-10-17
Pros: Good motion sensitivity. Adjustable on time. Day or anytime mode.
Cons: No light sensitivity measurement. My kitchen/entry area is a little dim and unit thinks it's night always.
In motion

This little sucker works! It has some minor drawbacks, like when it turns off sometimes it senses that as motion and turns right back on. In the light sensing/motion sensing mode it works pretty well, although its not always quick. I have gotten about 5 feet past it before it triggers, but hey what do you want from an american product, quality? Ya get 4 stars, be happy, go take another coffee break! made in America
Simple, but good product.

Stop stumbling around in the dark trying to turn on a light by clapping your hands. The Sensor Plug simply plugs into a wall socket and when it detects motion, it turns on any electrical device that is plugged into it: lamp, radio or fan even your TV. It'
Just the right gadget
2007-02-22
I purchased two of them to plug into the lamps on both levels of the stairs in my house instead of having to leave the lights on throughout the night. They work perfectly staying off during the day and only turning on for a few minutes when someone approaches the stairs. As long as there is movement they will stay on. The right gadget for the right situation!
They work, but a little erratic for range.

I put one of these on the ceiling of a stairway with a swag lamp plugged in. Works fine, except sometimes it turns on right away and sometimes I'm on the third step going up or down. If I just came in from the cold, sometimes it doesn't turn on until I'm directly under the sensor. For the price, though, this is just what I needed and I'm a happy customer.
Great Product.

Works great. I installed in my Laundry/Pantry closet and plugged in some fluorescent lights. Now every time I open the bi-fold door, it turns on. It turns off in a few minutes after I close the door. No more need to fumble for the light switch.
Doesn't work in cold weather!

I bought this for my garage, one of the suggested uses on their website. The response time gets slower as the weather gets colder. Below freezing, it doesn't work at all. That makes it almost useless here in Vermont.
