Great jam and exercise

I really enjoy this product for the musical diversity (3 expansions) and the game play of arcade(avoid the smoke bombs), exercise (continuous for X minutes) and other modes. The lyrics are not all about God but are wholesome or point to faith in some way. Although some lyrics can be edgy depending on your taste.
Pad Quality: After 1 month, the pad started cracking so I'm checking in with support on that. The default pad is very slippy even on carpet although I didn't try the footer circles they provide.
The harder songs are longer (someone was complaining about short songs). I recommend the downloads or an expansion to get some newer features!
Age appropriateness: 10 year old girl does better than adults; 8 year old girl gets frustrated very quickly but finally moves up to medium levels; even Uncles and Grandpas have tried it out!
I have played DDR on PS2 a couple times and it is very similar, but I don't have extensive experience to truly evaluate.
Great alternative to secular music

My girls wanted the DDR, but with the secular songs that come with it, I wasn't willing to buy it. This is an excellent alternative, not only providing a wonderful Christian music alternative, but providing tons of fun too. Even my 'cool' unsaved neice found it irresistable, and has been visiting more often just to play. I'm happy she is getting some much needed Christian input in her otherwise very secular life. Thank you for providing this awesome outreach tool!
Terrific Product 2007-01-23
We like the music. There is sufficient variety of songs to please my 8-year-old daughter, my 15-year-old son, and myself. The calorie counting mode is extremely useful. The pad seems to be very durable so far. I also like to read the spiritual messages when the lyrics are shown on the screen. We like the variety of difficulty too. "Easy" is perfect for my daughter, "medium" is challenging enough for us for now, we haven't even tried "hard" yet.
I rated this 5 stars for myself. My kids rate it 4 stars.

This is a great way to exercise and worship at the same time. Many levels to choose from so it works for most anyone. Would definitely recommend this to friends.
A great product 2007-01-19
We bought this for our children (8,6,3) for Christmas and they LOVE it! Too hard for the 3 year old, but it is great exercise and eye/foot coordination activity, and we love that we can trust the music! It has been a huge motivator for them to get done what they need to so they can play it. Even the adults enjoy it and get a workout doing it, so fun for the whole family! Definitely worth the money!
The Best Thing Ever! 2007-12-29
I got this game for my b-day last year and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I know most of the songs on it so, while I dance, I sing-along. It really gets me excersising, but it doesn't feel like you excersising, it just feels like fun. So all the people (kids and adults) who need to excersise and have fun at the same time, get this game!
This year for my b-day I am going to get the ReMix 2...I am just wondering (if anyone can tell me) if the Original Dance Pads work with the ReMix...but anyhoo, this is the best game EVER! And the expansion packs are awesome!

This has been a great way for my children to get some exercise while listening to Christian music.

I think this is an awesome game. It is better than DDR. You end up getting to know some awesome praises as well as work out at the same time!
Good Clean Fun 2007-05-13
We bought Dance Praise for our 12-year-old son. There are 3 levels to choose from; lots of good songs. Our whole family likes it - me, my 12 and 10-year-old sons, my 7-year-old daughter, and my husband (however, the mat tends to move around too much for my husband). It's a good workout - my son said his calves were burning after spending about 1/2 hour dancing. Great way to get some excersize without even realizing it!
I think it's just plain fun - I love to dance and I love the music.
Impressed 2007-03-25
Before getting Dance Praise I was trying to decide between this one and the dance dance revolution. I had played ddr before and enjoyed it. I wanted to make sure Dance Praise wasn't just really easy even on the hardest level. After receiving Dance Praise I was VERY impressed. The difficult level was NOT too easy (I have to really practice to even barely pass). I am very glad I got this product and highly recommend it! The songs are great and there is a wide variety of them. I find myself singing along as I dance.
