My son was getting so used to the uppercase letters that I needed to purchase the lowercase letters for him to practice and learn the other letters. Because the Fridge Phonics system is so fun, it really wasn't difficult to get him to play with these!

Learning, fun, and portable

We got the Leapfrog Fridge Phonics set for Christmas the year before last. Our (then) 2-year old son learned all of his letter sounds within 2 weeks of Christmas -- it was great! We had been wanting the lowercase letters for him also and finally decided to buy them. Just like the capital letters, these are an excellent educational tool to help kids learn their letters and sounds, plus they are a rare toy that uses lowercase letters. On top of the obvious educational and entertainment values, our kids also enjoy toting these letters around the house. They have used them to learn which of their dump trucks magnets will stick to, which appliances will hold them, which buckets they won't dump out of because they're stuck to them, etc. Overall, a great toy! We've never had any problem with the original Fridge Phonics set or the lowercase expansion pack.

lowercase letters are important

My children 5 & 3 both use the lowercase letters with the Word Whammer. Uppercase letters are everywhere, games, toys...but you hardly ever get you hands on lowercase letters & they are important.
Anyway, the product is great! Very educational. Good to get ready for school.

My son 5, knows his uppercase and lowercase letters already but loves having the additional letters so he can spell more words. It will also be a great tool to use to teach our daughter 2, her lowercase letters.

My two year old loves playing with these letters, and he now knows all his upper and lower case letters. Its amazing how few alphabet games use lower case letters, rather than upper case.

Good addition to the capital letters we already had ..

The small case letters were the next step our granddaughter needed. She's shown renewed interest in this old standby when visiting now. First place she heads is the refrigerator to practice all of her letters. I still like the fact that I can put the leap frog device itself out of sight (the noise can be annoying after awhile) but she still likes to pick out the letters for you.

these with the uppercase letters and numbers are WONDERFUL! it has absolutely assisted in teaching my children their alphabet. and all ages are having fun with it...even adults like to make words and post messages on the fridge, haha!

We got these when our kindergartener's teacher said he was acing the upper case letters but needed more practice identifying the lower case letters. All 3 of my children enjoy using them to spell short words, and now they can match up each "big letter" with its "small letter" counterpart.

	Star Wars Episode III: Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet Wow, do I ever wish they had this out when I was a kid! I bought it, and my wife, kids and I have all been playing with it. It has a chest box with several buttons that plays about 5 of Darth's quotes from the movies, or you can switch it to voice changer. The voice changer is fun! It has 3 different levels of depth for changing the voice. ... A must for Star Wars Geeks!!!!
