Works with Sony DVD camcorders, but you will always get a message in your Sony Camcorder that says "Sony DVD recommended".

I purchased Hitachi DVD Camcorder along with Memorex 30 min./1.4 GB Mini DVD+RW. All customers be ALERT!!! please do not purchase Memorex DVD+RW disks as this is not rcommended by Hitachi & also not working with my Hitachi Camcorder.
Inexpensive but limited in use.

It is inexpensive compared to the Sony discs. However, You cannot use them in any DVR so you are limited to burning the CD to a regular size CD or playing it on the Video recorder. I like just sticking in the cd and watching it.

After reading so many horror stories about dvd camcorder and the disks they use I was so releaved when my wife had no problems using these disk in her new cannon dvd camcorder great product. will buy more

I have used these (memeorex) the TDK and the Sony mini-dvd's. These work ok but seemed to be slightly off balance causing a slight vibration in the camcorder. Nothing was evident on the video. I am using a Sony camcorder so of course I get the annoying sony proprietary message about the media. The TDK's or the sony mini-dvd's did not cause the vibration.

my camcorder uses DVD-R, so this was a good choice for me. In the three packs that I have used so far, I did find 1 defective DVD, but that was it. Considering what you are paying for an industry respected product, its not bad at all. Had no configuration problems with the camcorder either.( cannon DC230). Just put it in and record!

Over the holidays I got my first mini DVD camcorder and when I went to go look for mini dvd's for it me and my husband found Memorex 30 min./1.4 GB Mini DVD-R (20-Pack) at what seemed to be a good price. After using it a few times I can say I am happy with the product and has had no problems with it.
