Lots of fun for baby!

We bought this raft for my 7-month-old daughter for our trip to Crete. It was great! We used it in the pool and on calm days, in the sea. She enjoyed it immensely and loved being in the water. It also folds up very small so it was easy to transport in the suitcase. I also love the extra sun protection.
not for daredevils

I inherited this from a friend who used it for her boys with great success. I tried my son in it when he was 11 months, about 22 lbs and 29". He had no interest in being in it and leaned forward so his face was in the water and he drank some lake water. I was right there, so he was fine, but we didn't get any use out of this float. My son has no fear about squirming and prefers to be held in the water than in a float. Just something to think about - even the top of the line float might not be useful.
We did keep the float in the car for the rest of the summer and it doesn't take up much space when it's flat and deflated. It's easy to set up and sturdy. I like the sun shade.
Great Canopy Float

We recently bought the Float with the Sun Canopy. We had been using a different Swimways Float without a Canopy for 2 months and the Swimways Floats are just great. We needed the Canopy for the Sun protection.
The Baby is 6 months old now & weighs 16 lbs.
The Canopy is PERFECT. The Canopy has 6 snap clips to attach to the Float. The Canopy is stable. It maintains its position overhead or it will "snap" in the titled position. Excellent sun protection for the baby that won't keep her hat on.
The Float inflates and assembles Quickly in just 2 minutes. You need to pinch the air valve with your teeth or fingers in order to open the valve flap while blowing up the rings. Some people do have an issue inflating these toys with the one-way Valve (with the internal Flap to trap the air from escaping). It is hard to inflate/deflate if you do not pinch the valve. The Float deflates and folds nicely into the small carry pouch.
The Float allows baby to support and stabilize herself with her arms on the top side of the inflatable inner ring. The Float works great! It supports her well and she can still splash in the mesh area on top of the float. She feels comfortable in it. She moves her legs, kicks, splashes with her hands, and has Fun.
The Float is Very Stable.
Educational? Well, we have been teaching her to swim and the kicking exercises are simple when she is in the Float. She is supported by the float and we can move her legs and encourage her to kick.
Good float, helps get baby used to water

I bought this for my son when he was 7 months old, we have a large pool and I wanted a way to get him in the pool, but I do not like the cheap plastic floats, they pop easily. This float was around $17 at Target, only $2 more than the plastic ones. My son did not seem to like the water, but it had nothing to do with the float, I liked this float also because it had a canopy on it, our pool gets sun for most of the afternoon and evening, but the canopy broke after a month of use, and we only used it once, maybe twice a week. I do recommend this float though, it is still functional.
great for babys safety

This is a great float for babies. They stay out of the sun and still can be close to you in the pool without getting hurt.
My daughter's favorite

An adorable accessory for the Baby Spring Float. Three-position adjustable, removable canopy protects baby from the sun and folds for storage just like the Baby Spring Float. Features an adorable "rainy day ducky" design and includes a carry/storage bag. 34"L x 30"W x 3"H. 1.64 lbs. Ages 9 to 24 months.
Safe float for little babies

This float has been a safe way for my son to join our family in the pool. It is very stable on the water and has a nice canopy to shade him from the rays. It is well-made also. It is, however, a little deep for him even though he is a rather large baby. There is a lot of room in the seat so I have to place a towel behind him to keep him from leaning to far back. He seems very comfy in it. It is a little difficult to get him out on my own so you may want to have someone hold the float while you pick the baby up, otherwise their little feet get tangled in the mesh seat. He is 6 months so it will be perfect in a month or two when he is a little larger. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product, we use it all the time.
Fun, but MUCH cheaper at Target

I bought my infant son this for swimming in the pool this summer. He likes it for about 10 minutes and then he wants out. (but that's just him :) It's easy to set up and use.
I bought it for about $15 at Target, so shop around--it's not worth $50!!!
Great Summer Fun

This is a great pool toy to have great construstion and design. Allows our little man to hang in the pool longer due to less sun exposure. Love the moveability of the canopy to block the moving sun. Our kiddo loves it and it has made him really like the pool and water. The only down side is trying to get it folded back down to the bag but we leave it inflated anyway since we use it so often.
Love this float!

We bought this float for my son last year, when he was 1-1/2 years old. He fit in it nicely. He was a little above average for his age. He was well above the water yet able to splash and touch the water to his heart's content. We had to drag him, shivering, out of the pool because he had so much fun.
Over the winter Aidan went through a pretty big growth spurt. At two he was the height of the average three year old, and nearly as heavy. By the time this summer came (and Aidan now 2-1/2), we were concerned about whether he would fit in the float. We need not have worried. He still floated well, not sinking, still played in the water, and we still felt he was quite safe, though we always keep him within arms' reach, as you should with any child's floatation device.
We haven't used the canopy because it is small and he is always facing a different way in the pool. Aidan loves being able to kick around to head where he wants to go. He splashes us all and has a good time, and we feel like he is safe.
