This Lighted Stand Magnifier pulls double duty as both a stand magnifier that can be used for viewing reading materials on a flat surface, and as a hands-free magnifier that can be hung around your neck for working on crafts and hobbies. Soft nylon cord is securely attached to the magnifier and can be comfortably worn for hours. Constructed of plastic, the scratch-resistant magnifying lens brings the smallest of print to a more readable level. The plastic frame boasts fold-out legs that allow you to store the magnifier flat or fold out the legs for hands-free magnification of papers, books, etc. Four built-in lights provide illumination for extra-clear visibility. Requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). Lens surface measures approximately 9-3/8" x 6-3/8". Outer measurements of stand: 11-1/2" L x 7-3/4" W x 4-3/8" H. overpriced, doesn't work.

I ordered this for my 82 year old mother that enjoys reading her Bible and local newspaper. The concept was nice, but the lights did not work. A good idea for a product but overpriced and not useable.

I have low vision problems and hoped that this lighted stand magnifier would make it easier for me to read standard text. The magnifying plastic sheet is of such poor quality that it was almost useless for my particular needs.
