Obsolete and Expensive

I trusted information from another site that this disc was anamorphic 16:9 widescreen enhanced. I am not happy that it is actually an obsolete 1.33:1 aspect ratio. It's hard to find a 4:3 television now. My son was there when I opened the package or I would have returned it.

Our family enjoys movies, and this is our all time favorite because it is the funniest. RocketMan will win your heart as you laugh your way through this fun filled adventure. It's family friendly and full of good natuured humor, which is why it is a cult classic. You owe it to yourself to watch this film!

Rocketman is a very cute Disney movie that didn't get much attention when it came out. It totally cracks you up and it's pretty much a brain drain, but you can't help laughing at the stupidity. It completely makes fun of itself and you find yourself doing movie quotes from it with your kids all day long. Disney should do more comedies! If you don't like juvinile humor than don't see this, but if that doesn't bother you, then this movie is great. Very clean, no cussing, no sex, no violence, but there is potty talk.
This is a Disney Movie? I'm impressed! 2008-04-07
I usually don't watch too many Disney movies, for I'm not into the singing bits. However when I saw Rocketman for the first time, I had some really good laughs. It is almost Non-Disney Like. It's Clean, but just obscenely stupid in a way that tickles your funny bone.
I'll admit if your a stiff person who doesn't care for dry humor, this film will not adorn to your likings. However if you have a hectic and stressful life and have room in your heart for a some good laughs, this movie is Perfect!
And if you want something similar but a little more edgy, I recommend with these shows for laughs:
BBC'S "Bottom" or "The Young Ones" (Also very very extremely hilarious) however these are comedy shows in which sport a lot more sexual innuendo and violent farce
