Great price for a JVC replacement battery. These are by Everready and work fine. These were 33% less than the JVC brand or those sold in our local store.
Battery for JVC Everio camcorders 2007-01-18
A fantastic battery! Keeping in mind that it's a bit bulky to work as well as it does, this is great because I have 5+ hours of camcorder operation rather than the measly 1 hour provided with the stock battery!
Buyer Beware

The battery Lasted only 2 months. Worked great while it lasted. The merchant I purchased it through had a 30 day return policy and would not help me in anyway with a replacement or reimbursement.
Excellent battery for the JVC camcorder 2008-07-21
This battery works great. The communication between the camcorder and the battery showed 260 minutes of recording time after fully charging it. I used it in my recent trip to Asia with no problem. Charged it several times during the trip and each time it reached 260 minutes max charge. I never had to worry about running out of battery power during a tour. For a fraction of the JVC battery price, this is a bargain!
Note that it is somewhat bulky - about 2" long - so it looks funny when attached to the camcorder. However, the 260 minutes of recording time make this a non-issue for me.

Great Battery replacement for JVC. It works great and you can use it for several hours. My camcorder looks weird with this battery but works great.

Initial battery delivered did not work properly; still waiting for a replacement. 2008-02-13
Battery will charge, work initially but after removing the battery from the camera and then placing it back on, the camera will not power up. The Factory JVC battery does not behave in this manner so its not the camera.
I received a confirmation email from the company that they received my bad battery but I have yet to receive a replacement.
