BEST INVERSION TABLE 2007-07-12
This is without a doubt the best..very very high quality...easy to assemble...none of the others come with a great book on Inversion and
the DVD is excellent...and customer service is excellent...I called for
a small plastic part that was chipped in shipment ( did not effect operation of the unit) I asked for two ( one as a spare, not really needed
they sent me 2 first class...a human answers the phone...no hassle..great.
I might add its very very stable. Exceeded expectations...

F9000 review 2007-03-23
Very well constructed. The ratchet release ankle feature is well worth the extra money and feels very secure. I did notice in the exercise booklet that comes with this unit (which was written for all types of inversion & not necessarily for this product) that an inversion chair is recommended for lower back pain as opposed to an inversion table. For myself I am thinking I should have bought an inversion chair, because as a two time back laminectomy surgery patient (L-4 & L-5)laying flat on my back causes discomfort and, I have experienced slight discomfort using this product when returning to the upright position to dismount. I have experienced professional physical therapy traction while on laying my back with my thighs pointed up 90 degrees and my calves resting on a stool parallel with the table and the traction pulling from my hips. I always felt great after those treatments, but I don't feel that using the table. In all the research I did prior to purchasing the inversion table I unfortunately found nothing that clearly recommended the inversion chair for persons with lower back pain. I do have a gripe about the delivery of this product. It came in two large boxes, one each about a week apart and someone has to be there to sign for it. That was a scheduling problem for us and would have rathered they came at the same time. This is a high quality product, but for my lower back ailments I think I should have purchased a inversion chair instead.

No more pain killers! 2007-03-08
I am new in the inversion therapy arena and have limited knowledge (both theoretical and applied) in this field. However, I felt compelled to try it out after reading a bit about is as I was in desperate need to stop taking pain killers for my back (when I sleep) almost every other night. I've been using the Teeter F9000 consistently for about 3-4 weeks (every morning). Results were immediate! From the first day itself, I've noticed my back doing much better. I don't take painkillers any more and I can't tell you what a relief it is not to inject my body with poison (painkillers). I combine the inversion with some back and posture exercises that came with the machine (free CD) and the combination has worked its wonders. So far so good! I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. The machine quality is much better than I expected and I am glad I've spent the extra money for the padded leg area.

Easy to assemble, easy to use, great for your back 2007-01-24
I couldn't be happier with this table. I hemmed and hawed for over a year as I researched all of the different tables. While I debated over spending the money on an inversion table, my back continued to worsen. It finally occurred to me that for what I was spending on my chiropractor to perform traction on my back (I have a herniated disk), I could probably buy a few of these tables. Now that I have it, I'm thrilled. Others here have written great, in-depth reviews and I don't need to repeat what they've said. I just want to say to anyone debating the merits of getting an inversion table - just go ahead and do it.

One year later...

After nearly a year of using my inversion table I had to come back to rave a bit more about it. I was headed for surgery before and was miserable. As soon as I began using my table I began to improve and have been great ever since. I work from home, so it's very convenient for me to invert whenever I need to. If my back begins to bother me I'll go hang upside down for a few minutes and it immediately relieves the pressure on my disk.

If you've got a herniated disk and have found that traction eases your pain, you should buy this table now.

Amazing back health 2006-08-31
This is truely an amazing piece of equipment for back and body health. I suffered from a herniated disc while I was pregnant, and had some difficulty "taking it easy" on my back post-partum as I have little children at home to take care of. After spending many hours and $ with a chiropractor, I realized that traction is a very healing process for keeping the spine in alignment and the disc properly hydrated. Everything you read about for the positive healing aspects of inversion are true. I had the opportunity to use the Teeter Hang Ups with the ankle release for a while, and I must say I am extremely pleased with the F9000. Although the quality of the both the ankle release table and the rachet system is the same, the F9000 is worth the extra expense. The ankle release is harder to release because it requires a stronger pull from the handle. Plus, you have to reach all the way to the ankles after a good inversion stretch. For anyone needing inversion because of stress or injury to the back, I just don't recommend bending to the ankles. The ankle release requires two movements - one hand is needed to pull the ankle handle release, and the other hand is needed to lift the piece away enough to get your feet out. The rachet system is completely different. The rachet system is a push button that releases the hold on the ankles, and with the same hand, you simply move it away from you. Not only do you not have to bend all the way to your ankles (just to the knees), it is also a simple, easy release. I wondered if I wanted to spend the extra money for a rachet system, but now that I tried both, I have no doubt the extra expense was more than well worth it.

One of my best purchases EVER!! 2008-07-01
The Teeter Hang Ups receives my highest recommendation. I've suffered with very serious back problems for many years and after researching the various products available, it was a no-brainer in deciding on this item. I was a bit worried at first, because having suffered through such pain for so long, I didn't know what to expect upon first using the "Hang Ups". To my surprise and great pleasure, the item is everything it was advertised to be and more. I used it cautiously at first and I was soon looking forward to each daily session. This is truly a 5 star wonder product.

Great product. 2008-06-09
The Teeter Hang Ups F9000 Inversion Table is everything we thought it would be. It is very sturdy and well built, and it folds up really easily for storage. It was really easy to assemble. You can fully invert or set the tether at several different angles, so that you can hang without worrying about your movements flipping you over more than you want. I've only had it for a month or so but it really does seem to help with my shoulder and neck pain.

motion sickness 2008-06-04

Do not buy this item,if you have motion sickness. It gave me motion sickness a lot. I can't stand it anymore.

Rock Solid, Quick Back Relief. 2008-04-13
I love the F9000 it went together nice and easy and is very stable something I was worried about as I am 6'1" 220lbs. I have trouble with my L3, L4 and L5. I noticed some relief after about a week and that alone made it worth the cost. The one thing you might want to consider is buying the F7000 if you have weak ankles as you can buy the inversion boots. Hanging by boots is a bit more comfortable. The F7000 is, I believe, identical to the F9000 except for the ratchet handle on the ankle clamps. All in all a great product.

Teeter Hang-up is wonderful 2008-01-19
I was able to purchase the F9000 for my birthday with certificates given me by my brothers and sisters (I have a large family). It is the most stable and solid inversion device that I have found after much research. I really enjoy the feeling in my body after using this device. But be careful, it is not a toy!
