Great product 2007-02-06
Easy to use, pretty much just point and shoot. Glad I had read reviews from other consumers regarding the lack of a complimentary disk. That's the least Sony could have done, considering the cost of the camera!

Very Good¡ 2007-02-02
This Camcorder is a Wonderfull piece of Tecnology. Easy to use, the image is clear, the soun 5.1 is espectacular. Very well for Sony.

quick shipping 2007-01-28
I only tried Easy, the image is not so good. And the battery lasts only about half hour. The sound is realy good. The shipping is very quick, I received the product 4 days after I made the purchase.

Simply perfect ! 2007-01-27
This handycam it's a perfect companion for your digital camera. It fits on your hand very well and the quality of the movies is outrageous !

Pretty Good Camcorder 2007-01-20
This is a good camera. The touch screen makes flipping throught menus very easy; instead of fumbling with button combinations, a button will come up telling you what action it will perform if you push it. I use it more for pictures than video, and the fact you can fit so many more pictures on the disc than on a card is very nice. One problem, you can't delete them unless it's on a DVD-RW. It takes pretty good pictures, with quite a few options for customization. The video is good. I compared this camera to it's younger brothers and the better lens does make a difference in video quality. The biggest problem for me, start up time and disc formatting takes too long, if it was faster, it'd be a five star product. There were a couple good whale shots I missed because the camera was starting up. If I had to buy again, I would.

Very nice cam 2008-01-23
I bought this for myself. But my son has four kids and I ended up giving the camera to him. I have no little kids no more but when I did I was always taking video. I used this cam a bit and it was great.

received a used camcorder, not a NEW one as advertised 2007-06-11
But the customer support was very good. My money was returned as promised, but it did cost me a week of my time.

Good deal! 2007-04-12
This is our first camcorder. We bought this for our twins who were born recentely. The long story short, this is a good deal. I spent about a week researching and decided to buy this for its user friendliness, DVD, price and qulaty. I made a good choice. HOWEVER, if you don't like the touch screen, which I like, do not buy this.

GREAT!! 2007-03-08
This is the best camcorder I have ever had, i did a tremendous amount of research on this one and it paid off....buy this do not hesitate.

Handicam Not PC Frienndly 2007-02-21
I could not use the software that came with the handicam and I tried five other programs and none of them could access the cams video or controls - It may be possible to link PC and handicam but I don't have a degree in science fiction. If you're going to edit and make movies on your PC keep looking. This one is only for propeller heads.

Review: ... "Click! The No Nonsense Guide to Digital Cameras" is misnamed. It covers a lot more than just cameras. In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.
Sony Cybershot DSCS90 4.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom Sony Cybershot DSCS90 4.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom
Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."
