Ok Not Fabulous

I've been in radio for 27 years and Sennheiser makes the best headphones on the planet. Period. These, however, are not their best effort. Sure, they sound great and are reasonably comfortable to wear, but the notched headband is not that sturdy and will strip inside of a year. Bring back the ond 414s!!!!!

1 these headphones are huge, so there is the sound with them and the size.
2 you need a little more power to drive them
3 they sound great but not as good as the iluv noise cancellers. that is what is missing.

Very good cans for the money. Will impress most users except the demanding audiophile, then again, not audiophile priced headphones. Quite comfortable for long wear and convinient cable winder. Great gift item.
About the comfort... 2007-11-14
For those who say it is uncomfortable, it's probably because you have a bigger head. Just extend the headphones to their max, and it should feel fine from there.
Aside from comfort, the headphones do have great sound, and they're sounding better the longer I listen to them.
The headphones, though, are made of cheap materials. That's the only drawback. otherwise, an excellent deal.

I owned other Sennheiser headphones for about 10 years. I even slept while wearing them-- they were that comfortable. When they finally wore out I purchased the HD415 and love them. They are tremendously comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. I have only slept wearing these once so far and it was great. What I especially like is that the cord is only on one side. I would never buy headphones from any other company.

I bought these headphones about 3 weeks ago. Since then I have also purchased Sennheiser HD212 pro's and HD555's. The 415's are a great upgrade from the OEM earbuds but they do leak sound based on design. My 13 yr old thinks they are great so I am very satisfied, especially based on the purchase price.

This Sennheiser has a very unique and clean appearance. It is durably built for years of listening pleasure. It is made to be comfortable. Its sound quality will make you smile. Sennheiser offers superb varieties at affordable pricing for those who enjoy using more than one/two headphones. Essentially, Sennheiser doesn't require a sacrifice to listen to music as the artist wants us to hear it.

OMG! This is an awful headphone. It doesn't matter how great the sound is because I can't wear it for more than 10 minutes. My ears and head hurt so bad. IT is super uncomfortable. I am so upset that I brought this piece of junk.
