I've used this product on yellow jackets, hornets, and wasps, and the results have always been great. The mint-based spray instantly takes effect on any wasps that it hits. And, even the wasps you don't hit right away are disoriented enough that it buys you more time to work the spray around to their area, too.
This spray is well priced, effective for dispatching nests of all shapes and sizes, and environmentally friendly.
With the poison sprays of the olden days, I used to feel like I had to immediately shower after using them to protect my children and myself from harmful effects. After making the switch to Victor's poison free spray, the only effect I'm aware of is that my kids tell me that I smell nice :)
Excellent alternative to poisons!! 2008-07-26
I'm more of a tree-hugger than a bug-killer (my wife and I cup moths into our hands and put them outside at night). Yesterday, however, I got stung by a paper wasp living inside our screen door. Normally, I'd leave them alone, but inside the door was not acceptable. No poisons for our house, so I'd thought I'd give this a try. It works fast and within a few minutes no more problem! I know, I know- a poison-free insecticide? Isn't that one of those oxymoron thingies? Nope. Do the right thing for your home and the environment and kill those suckers with this stuff. It's quick, extremely effective, and minty-fresh!
Works on spiders too. 2008-07-07
Yeah I know, it's for bees.
The nest was way too high on the roof and it didn't shoot that far.
However.......
One fine afternoon I walked out on my front porch and on the ceiling was a black and white Jurassic Park sized spider hovering over an egg nest.
Needless to say, I wasn't going near the thing with a ten foot pole.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm in Minnesota and we don't get bugs THAT big in the city.
Anyway, I grabbed the hornet killer and let loose, spider go bye bye, egg sack go bye bye.
Maybe it wont work on every kind of bug, but it knocked spider mommy into next week.
Bees?
I'm sure it works, but make sure the nest is within firing range and not forty feet above the ground like mine was.

This stuff is like a death ray, I've never seen any insecticide works so fast.

I have for the past seven years been tormented by bees, wasps, flies, during the summer months, when I'm out on my deck. I tried everything. I thought I would try Victor's spray. I sprayed my deck, up in the beams, on the siding where they would lurk, and I have had no trouble since. If they start to come back, I spray another dose. I ordered 6 more cans. I can now go out on my deck and not fear I will be tortured, or stung by wasps (which I'm allergic to). Plus, it's safe. A life-saver!!!

Mint oil over stimulates insects' nervous system and/or clogs insects' breathing holes causing asphyxiation and death. Residual effects last up to 4 weeks. Works Great - People Should Switch! 2007-03-21
A lot of people go overboard when using insecticides. But this product is a good example of a safe (the active ingredients are mint oil and detergent!) and very-effective hornet killer. I used this many times, and it works very well. Too bad I can't find it anywhere locally. Luckily it's easy to order here.
Bees Nesting In My Garage Gone 2006-09-19
It shoots 10 feet or more. I used it on a yellow jacket hive next to my house. I opened the door, shot quickly, then went back inside fast to protect myself. The bees didn't seem to know where it was coming from and didn't notice me. The result was not instant, and I have been told that yellow jackets are harder to kill. When I checked the next morning they were dead and gone.
My mother has the kids use it on wasps when little nests appear on her house eves. Non-toxic and works instantly. Great product!

This is a great product. It works and as a bonus has a nice scent. I don't have to worry about my kids and pets being exposed to toxic substances.

This works great and smells good. I can spray it everywhere and not worry about the dogs and cats getting into it and kills Wasp instantly
