I love Bag Balm. I have been using it since I was a little kid. It is the cure for every skin-related issue you could have. I use it for chapped lips, wrinkles, a chafed behind after long bike rides, sunburns, whatever...Sadly, my 10 oz tin came dented on the top, so I will have to deal with opening a dented tin for the next thirty years until it is all used up and I need to buy another.

Great stuff for softening those hard and calloused spots on the hands and feet and any other places; no other salve can do it overnight!

Just have to wrap them at night as they can be oily.

Bag balm is great!

I actually bought Vermont's original Bag Balm for my mom as part of her Christmas gift. My husband used it for years when he worked for the USPS and had problems with his hands drying out and cracking. My mom works in a school cafeteria and her hands have been cracking due to being in water so much. So I bought her some bag balm to try to help her hands. You just put it on in the evening and let it soften your hands while you sleep. Hopefully she will use it and see the relief it can bring to her sore hands.

This is the first-aid kit for skin!

Bag Balm was highly recommended by a lady who worked in a professional beauty supply store to help with patches of severely dry and irritated skin on my shins during the freezing New York winter. Now, it doesn't seem like much to get a recommendation on a skin cream in a store like that, but I should tell you that they didn't even stock this item. She sent me to the drug store down the street to get it!

Bag Balm will NOT win any prizes for it's smell (just a touch medicinal) but it is a miracle cream if you are really suffering from patches of skin so dry that you end up raking with your nails to stop the dry skin itch.

Nothing I write could indicate what a life saver this stuff is. But, I guarantee that if you try it yourself you will agree that it had amazingly soothing properties.

My vet recommended Bag Balm to treat a very very dry and cracked nose of my 15 years old Basset Fauve de Bretagne. 4 days after I started he had a smooth, wet, shiny nose like a puppy!
