This set was SO EASY to put in and it all looks great. The connections are so much easier than the set I purchased somewhere else prior to this one and had to return it because it was a big pain in the neck to get working! Great buy! Can't go wrong.

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if I should order this light set. However, the price is fantastic and I have heard good things about Malibu from other websites so I gave it a try. The lights arrived yesterday in a very nice box. I was happy to find the parts all organized and packed with care. I set up an assembly line on my patio and put all of the tier lights and flood lights together within an hour. The directions could use some help but to be honest, I just used the picture to assemble everything. I set out my lights, clamped them to the wire, buried the wire and pushed the lights into the ground. Easy stuff and they look very nice. I replaced some of the really old Malibu metal tier lights that came with the house and I like the plastic better. I'm 100% happy with this set and I'm thinking about getting another for adding lights to the front of my house. What a great deal!

A lot of lights for the money. Fairly simple to assemble. I would have given them five stars if they would have been easier to build and connect.

Unlike other reviewers, I found the product to be simple to assemble and easy to install. I have had a similar set of lights that has ringed my deck for nearly ten years. The lights are on at dusk and off at dawn - 365 days a year. I have had to replace one or two bulbs of the whole lot in that length of time. The package had everything that I needed to install the lights, nothing missing, nothing broken. While they are not high end stuff, they work well and hold up to hot summers and icy-cold winters - and have for years.

The only Malibu light set I have ever purchased had a power supply, which also encloses the timer. I saw a set on Amazon, and purchased it. Unfortunately, it does not contain a timer. Merely the power supply (which is listed) which includes a light sensor to automatically turn it on and off. The light sensor is not listed in any manner in the product listing. Not sure this is a Malibu matter, more one for the way Amazon depicts products. I advise caution before ordering to ensure this is what you want. To Amazon's credit, they are refunding the full price plus shipping.

Low glare lighting for garden landscaping or to outline a walk or steps, the Malibu LX58720P low voltage lighting kit is a great DIY project. The kit includes 14 tier lights and 6 Zoom Floodlights, which can be changed to spot lights with a turn of the wrist. The fixtures can be arranged in any pattern along the 100 feet of cable included with the kit. Each 12-volt 4-watt fixture is attached to the cable with a quick clamp system, which also allows for additional fixtures to be added as needed. I was pleased with the number of lights you get with this package. Kinda disappointed that they do not generate alot of light. But I am very pleased with my purchase. The lights really look good outside and it covered all across the front of my house perfectly.

I paid about $40 after shipping and taxes for these lights...seems to be about what I expected for that amount.
They were really easy to setup. They are made of plasitc, but a lot of them out today still are since the metal ones go for about 3x the cost, so I am not sure why the other people were surprised about that fact.
the photo timer works great and we no longer have to turn the lights on and off!!
You may need about 2-3 hours to install them correctly since you will want to hide the wires, at least if you have pets like we do.

Over all, they were a great deal!

This is probally a product you will open and not ever touch again. The quality of the lamps is dismal.All electical connection s have to be hand soldered by the buyer. And,oddly enough,the box containing the lamps looked faded and old,definetly a product sitting on the shelve s a long time.

I was excited to see landscape lights at a bargain price, so I jumped on this set. When it arrived, I was very surprised to see that I had to assemble EVERYTHING from cheap plastic parts.

none of it was "packaged" - all the parts were thrown in there as if they were leaving town in a hurry. very disappointed in the quality of this product.
