I am not all that happy with the Malibu outdoor lights. They are very thin plastic and break easily.I would look for something more durable if I were going to purchase lights again.I guess you get what you pay for.

What can we say, they're plastic but overall I think it's a good product at a great price. Assembly is required, though not very complicated. We added the 20 lights around a new landscape project, in addition to the existing 8 x 11 watt set in the yard already.
They look great, the spotlights are especially night to highlight large rocks and ornamental trees.
They may only be 4 watt, but they are nearly as bright as my year old 11 watt ones. Easy to install and program. You may need to buy additional cable depending on where you install them - 50 feet is $9 at local home stores.

We have used Malibu products, find them very good. Out back yard is mostly shade, so solar dosen't work well. I had to hunt these down to find them, so glad the electric are still being produced.

Malibu outdoor lighting kit 2007-09-11
The lights are great...but the 88 watt power packs, they seem to be having problems with. Amazon was great to work with and they replaced the 2 power packs that did not work. I hope they did not lose money as it should be the Malibu company quality control testing the packs and making them better. If they leave the factory not working that does not say much for the quality of the packs.

My husband installed this kit in our front garden bed. It took him about a day to get it installed and bury the wires. It looks great!!

This is the worst $50 I've spent on something! Bad investment! The light that it gives is so weak it won't even decently light up my pathways. It should be very very dark for these lights to work. You need all 46 floodlights to light up a tree! My solar lights outperformed it by ten-fold! Bad decision!

After reading the negative reviews, I was hesitant however the price was great. They were in perfect shape. No broken or missing parts. Easily put together by following instructions and taking time.

This same kit sells for $289 at Home De%^&. Everything snapped together and works very well. I highly recommend Amazon over the local home fixit supplier.

This is a nice light for the back of your house - I would not use them in the front. Not bright enough. However -- they look great on my back screened patio. For this price - they are good. My handyman put them together and installed them in about 2.5 hours.
