Dial-up's BEST Friend 2008-08-07
If your stuck with dial-up and play online games this modem is the player's BEST FRIEND.

External Modem 2008-05-08
The area I'm using it in has old poor phone lines. This hooks up consistently at 52k. And seems to produce a very stable connection. I got luck and found exactly the right modem. Exactly what I needed.

Excellent and Easy 2007-03-14
I've never had a problem with the modem, I can even use it to take older computers on th internet even if hey don't have a USB port, like most external modems require.

Good enough for government work. 2007-03-12
This modem doesn't nearly connect at the speed it advertises. I get a 32Kbps connection at best, but it does the job. I've been spoiled by high-speed Internet for so long it seems like going back in time using this thing, but that's just me. Overall, a good external modem for the price.

One complaint 2007-01-12
You should give a choice of serial cables. My Laptop serial port is female thus I needed a Male-Male cable.
