This 150-pound dumbbell set from Keys Fitness comes in a strong steel rack for convenient and sturdy storage. Each dumbbell is hex-shaped to prevent rolling and features an easy-grip rubber surface for safe strength training. The rubber coating also helps protect the floor when the dumbbells are dropped. The set includes two each of 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, and 25-pound weights, allowing you to vary your workout program and challenge yourself every time. The dumbbell rack is designed with 14-gauge steel and has a powder-coated finish for extended protection and durability. Very nice weight set

Perfect started weight set for a home gym. The weights look and feel like professional ones that you would find at a gym. The stand is also the perfect size and easy to put together. They do have a little bit of a funny smell for a couple of days though as the rubber off gasses, but that goes away.

Very fast delivery by UPS, I got it on Monday, which is President Day. I didn't expect to get it on the holiday, though. It took me less than 20 minutes to assemble. You need socket 14 mm or 9/16 standard on the 4 bottom bolts and number 17mm sockets or 11/16 stadard sockets for the other four bolts. The stand looks beautiful,and the dumbells are nice with the rubber to protect your floor. Best of all__the price is great. You can't find anywhere else cheaper than that. It took me longer to write this review than to aseemble the stand....lol
Excellent value, perfect for home gym 2008-01-27
Takes up a small amount of space, and provides a great set of weights in a not-unattractive rack. Utilitarian, clean look. Fast rack assembly. No instructions, but just use the photo on the front of the box and you'll have it done in five minutes flat.
Fantastic value.
Ships in two boxes, and by the time it got here there wasn't anything left of the box with the 2x25lb and 2x20lb dumbbells; the UPS driver brought those dumbbells in by hand, and then the empty box. 90 lbs of dumbbells in a simple cardboard box?
They were fine, so I'm happy.

Great selection of weights for the average home at a great price. Weights are well constructed and actually look pretty nice. The only downside was the assembly of the weight rack, not difficult but a bit of a pain. Absent that assembly I would give this a 5 star rating.

I bought this so I would have something to add to my workouts without having to deal with the gym. These are very nice weights with an alright stand. Well worth it.

I checked the prices at 6 different stores and the price for the dumbbells alone was $4 more than I paid here for the dumbbells and the rack. I plan on getting the 30 and 35 pound dumbbells at the store with the best price.
Even after all the reviews here, they still ship with no instructions and in a box that disintegrates during shipping. My square box was actually completely wrapped in packing tape and then put into another big brown box during shipment. I'm surprised they arrived safely.
Stinky dumbbells 2008-05-30
The set of dumbbells arrived in just a few days. Both of the boxes were torn and held together mostly by the nylon strapping and packing tape, but nothing was damaged. The stand is quite sturdy, but no instructions were included for setup--it still took only about fifteen to bolt the steel pieces together. The dumbbells themselves are the real deal, solid feel and the rubber is cleanly molded. The rubber off-gased for some three weeks before the chemical odor finally subdued. Otherwise, we are pleased with the price and quality of these dumbells.

These are a very good deal, great price-per-pound, and they are perfectly nice dumbbells. The packaging was in pretty rough shape when they got here, and one has some permanent scuff marks on the rubber (but who cares, they are dumbbells!), but the rack was not too bad to put together (according to my husband, who did it), and sturdy enough. Nice compact footprint, so it fits nicely in my limited area in the basement, I am very happy with these.

This set is just right. Sturdy stand, good weights, etc. Like others, I thought instructions on assembling the stand would have been nice, but it's pretty straight forward. I'm very happy with the buy.
