This toy required quite a bit of assembly. The material seemed satisfactory, but it was hard to get the figurines to seat well. Overall, however, our granddaughter spent alot time with it and continues to enjoy it.

We got this at the incredibly discounted price of $4.99 and at that price, it was a GREAT deal! My six-year-old daughter loves it and plays with it almost every day. She has a couple of the full-size mermaid Barbie dolls, and thinks this playset is a perfect "home" for them. Much to my surprise, my four-year-old son likes it, too! He can't get enough of sliding "Bibble" down the slide in the "bubble" - an added bonus for us! We are very pleased with this toy and were thrilled to get it at the discounted price because I probably would not have paid the full retail price for it.

My daughter loves it

We got this our 3 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. The whole thing just snaps together, which was nice. It seems very well made too. Ava's already dropped it a few times and we just snapped it right back together. She has some of the dolls that go wth it but her Polly Pockets work real well with it too. I would definitely recommend this toy.

This playset is LARGE :) It gives the mermaids a place to hang out rather than the barbie house. It took a lil time to assemble. WELL MADE!

My granddaughter is almost 3 and has been playing with this playset everyday for the past 2 weeks. She becomes totally engaged with her dolls and the playset. We haven't had any problems with it coming apart; don't know if were are one of the lucky ones. I would highly recommend this for anyone with a child with a great imagination.

Hours of play even if your child is a rough player.

The Barbie Fairytopia Mermaidia Playset has two levels of play so fairies and mermaids can play together in the coral and under the sea! Even Bibble has fun going down the slide! This giant, two-foot-tall playset includes lots of features so girls will be able to play out the story. Dolls not included. Colors and decorations may vary from those shown.

My daughter got this for Christmas because of her love of all things Mermaids. While overall I like the toy, I have to wonder if they did a test with actual children before production. The side with the slide sort of tilts down and seems unstable (and sometimes the slide falls off). The top comes off sometimes (would have been better if it didn't rotate). But, my daughter (4.5) and son (2.5) both enjoy it quite a bit. My daughter had Elina, and got another mermaid, 2 merfairies and a sea pixie to complete the set (she had no other barbies). Both Elina and Shella fit on the sides and Shella can sit at the table and have a drink with a merfairy. I paid $30 for this at the store in November, but even at $30, I didn't mind the price (until I saw that some of you got it for $4.99!!!). It is by far the biggest hit from Santa this year! Despite its faults, I would buy it again.

Great fun with any barbie

I only purchased this item due to the 4.99 price. I must admit when I opened the box I wanted to stuff it back in and say forget it, but that could have been due to the other 25 things I had already put together and was just tired.

15 minutes later my 11 year old son had it complete and my daughters 6 & 10 were having a blast. I figured I would have to go out and buy them a couple of the mermaidia dolls to go with but that wasn't true. Any barbie works great.

It came with a table, 2 chairs, one character, mirror, sink, comb, hammock, a flying flower, and a slide. The house itself is about 2 foot tall.

My daughter received one of these from her grandparents for Christmas. I read a review stating that this was junk and so wasn't in a hurry to set it up. I put it together this morning. It went together easily. I had no directions to follow (daughter opened the box and may have lost them). I easily put it together by looking at the pictures on the box. It seems quite sturdy to me. My daughter has been playing with it for quite a while with no repairs needed.
The only negative thing I can say about it is that it doesn't come with any dolls. It clearly states that on the box but my 5 year old can't read very good yet and was only going by what the pictures showed.
My daugher didn't have any mermaid dolls so she was using regular Barbies with this set. Yes, they are a little big but that's where imagination comes into play. My daughter did just that this morning. (My Little Ponies work well too!) I confess, however, I just got back from picking up a couple mermaids for her to play with. She got the one shown hanging on the side of the playset and it really isn't much smaller than a typical Barbie.
I was so impressed with this toy and the $4.99 Amazon price that I just ordered one to put up for when I need a birthday present for one of my daughter's friends.

Beautiful toy

We just put the pieces together and my daughter has not stopped playing with this underwater castle. Very pretty with lots of imagination incentive. The top room can be turned around to any direction and the water slide is really cool. We are quite happy with our purchase.

	Dora the Explorer Mr. Face Plush Backpack Review: My daughter is a big Dora fan and uses this backpack to carry around her favorite toys and books, which is why I gave it 5 stars for educational value. My friend's daughter has it as well, and love hers too. We've had it 6 months now and it's holding up just fine. The map opens up for an added bonus. My daughter likes to wear it and sing the backpack song from the show.
	Star Wars Episode III: Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet Wow, do I ever wish they had this out when I was a kid! I bought it, and my wife, kids and I have all been playing with it. It has a chest box with several buttons that plays about 5 of Darth's quotes from the movies, or you can switch it to voice changer. The voice changer is fun! It has 3 different levels of depth for changing the voice. ... A must for Star Wars Geeks!!!!
