Feels comfortable while wearing, does not fall out at night. Though it is still big enough so that I am unable to close my mouth while wearing it - I am a new mouth guard user so am not sure if this is normal!

I like the small guard, it fits my mouth comfortably... I can even talk on the phone with it in! I used to wake up every morning with really bad jaw pain, especially when trying to chew. It stays in all night. I can't get over how perfectly it molded to my teeth. I heated it twice to get the impression deep enough for that vacuum-tight fit.
I really appreciate that this guy decided to sell these, especially because dental care is not very affordable, and the thought of having to spend a fortune for a bulky uncomfortable one is ridiculous! THANKS SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!

So I was just looking at my order history, and it turns out I've been using this night guard for 25 months now. It comes with two and I still have the second one saved in a plastic bag for future use. It has definitely seen better days, but it continues to prevent me from grinding my teeth. Sure, some nights if I'm super-restless it'll come out, but in general it does a great job. The one thing I'm curious about is why they made it from two separate pieces of plastic (at least the version I got in 2006). It seems like they're just destined to separate, especially given that the whole purpose is to stop my teeth from grinding each other by taking the bullet itself. So the top layer is pretty much worn away by now, but as I said, the thing still does its job. If I ever need another one, I'm definitely gonna order this one again!

I'm using the youth guard and it's a perfect fit. My Dentist wanted 4.80.00 for a guard. I'll have to bite through about 50 of these before I reach 480.00. It's well worth a try.

I am very happy with this nightguard. It was much cheaper than my previous two, which I got from the dentist, and it is much more comfortable. I would buy it again.

I can't bias the rating because I'm stupid. At night when I'm sleeping, I take this out of my mouth and start grinding away again. But I must say.. for those of you who wont take it out while you're sleeping, it is a great fit. My boyfriend trimmed it up a bit for me and it fits great!

I have bought it based on all the positive recommendations but it didn't work for me and I returned it.
Just like one of the previous reviewers said, I followed the instructions, and the smaller guard was too thick for me. I reheated it, which probably made it even worse. My mouth is small and I don't need a 5mm barrier between my teeth, and in front of my teeth. I don't grind only clench and tend to wake up with swollen gums, so as much as I need some barrier, this was too huge and too uncomfortable. As a matter of fact, it made things worse. When I was laying I felt that the guard would get loose on a side and press on my upper and bottom teeth having a worse effect than clenching. Another issue was that it's too thick that you can't even close your mouth properly. I know that it's possible to cut/sand some pieces off, but that's very difficult to do and requires special tools.
I tried it for a few weeks, and decided to return it.
Contrary to what the producer recommends, I don't think you should use a night guard for sports.
Considering that it works for some, you can always buy it and return it if it doesn't work for you.

Being instruction-challenged, I'm just now following the instructions to ready the personal-fit mouth guard (by the way, the instructions were easy and worked). I slept with this mouth guard, for the first time, last night. It's a snug fit, and this morning, a couple of my front teeth felt sore. Though I'm not thrilled with the product, it's still better than the dental device my dentist sold me, for $250.00 (which I flung out of my mouth, during one night, and now can't find). I also plan to check out the one I keep seeing, advertised at Walgreen's, that is a no-boil. I think if I'd pressed more towards the back teeth, instead of the front, with this one, it would be fitting better. Some of my dissatisfaction may be my own doing.
Works as it should 2008-04-27
I've only been using this for about 2 weeks but I am very satisfied with it so far. Two sizes are great - I use the smaller one and it fits perfectly. Very easy directions, took less than ten minutes from opening to getting a molded guard. The instructions are short but to the point. Be sure to follow the helpful hint about wearing it around before going to sleep. It takes some getting used to and the first few nights you may spit it out. Can't beat the price!
Easy to use 2008-04-24
My dental hygienist recommended a sports mouth guard as an alternative to an expensive custom guard. I do not have dental insurance. She pointed out that I had already chipped off part of my front tooth. After reading all the conflicting reviews on night mouth guards, I was almost too overwhelmed to make a choice. Luckily using the actual product was the easiest part.I had no problems sizing the smaller guard to my mouth, and wear it overnight comfortably. I'm just holding back on the 5 stars until I check in with the dentist again.
