Fine Stapler
2008-10-06
I am a DIYer and using this stapler to install insulation in the basement ceiling. The stapler is light and compact, and has worked perfectly well for me, no misfires. I have Milwaukee and Senco nailers, both high quality, and this stapler has so far worked as well as either of those, for a fraction of the price. The company has also re-worked their instruction manual so that it is now written in comprehensible English. The Arrow T50 staples I used worked just fine. Perhaps the only down side to this stapler is the capacity. It is so easy to use that I have fired more staples than the job might require, towards ensuring the insulation stays where I installed it. While Surebonder has a similar gun with greater staple capacity, at a slightly higher price, I am happy with mine despite having to replenish staples more frequently.

Great little staple gun for very few dollars. I have a small boat canvas and cushion shop and it does me just fine. Might not stand up to production shop loads, or might, I don't know, but I think for light use it can't be beat.
This is a good product!

I used it with Stainless Steel staples for loose upholstery on my boat.
The stapler works effortlessly, is lightweight and smaller than I thought it would be for a pnuematic which helps it to fit into tight places. You will need a air compressor, an air hose and T55 staples of course.

I was leery about the surebonder as it was so inexpensive, but I decided to take a chance. It worked perfectly (once we got the right size staples, the ones that were sent with it were the wrong size). Not once did it jam, it penetrated the suede material and hard wood for the project with ease. The only thing to change would be if it could fit into smaller spaces, but it is smaller than any other I've ever used.

The Cheap Surebonder 9600 Stapler and ANTONLINE bad customer Service and Exchange policy.

I do not write lots of reviews on the items I purchase on line because lots of the buyer have included most of my observation in there reviews, however I did have a bad experience recently with a brand new Surebonder 9600 pneumatic staple gun I purchased from ANTONLINE, (you get what you pay for, however the first one I purchased from amazon directly still working with no problems). This stapler is cheap in price and cheaply made, what I mean if the gun you buy work out of the box lucky you, it will do the job it is suppose to do (staple up to 9/16 stapler T-50), however if the stapler come defected leak air for example because one of the o-ring, To all the buyer out there you should know that ANTONLINE have the worst return policy, they will not exchange or return a defected items, when you request an RMA for this stapler, you will get the email address of the manufacturer customer service to deal directly with Surebonder (what a mediocre service since I am paying for the shipping fees)
Surebonder FPC Corporation based in Wauconda, IL. do not have a service center for this stapler. Because the cost of this stapler is cheap. Surebonder will offer to send you a repair kit for you to fix yourself. Guys if you need to order this stapler, order it directly from amazon. com if you have a problem with it at least Amazon will give you the royal treatment in return policy, do not order it from one of the sponsored seller like ANTONLINE even if you have to wait a week or so until amazon have it in stock there warehouse. This gun is rated for 60-100 PSI it will do the job at 70 PSI if it does not leak.

I bought this stapler on a recommendation from a fellow home theater builder and I've been very pleased with the performance, value and ease of use. I built my screen and window blackouts using a standard hand stapler and it was awful I had to constantly hammer the staples all the way down.
I purchased this stapler to do my velvet screen frame as well as my fabric covered sound treatment panels and I can't tell you how wonderful the difference is! The staples go in all the way every time!
For the money I can't believe how great this little stapler is. You just buy regular T-50 staples and you're good to go. The adjustable air exhaust on the top is a bonus at this price. Don't hesitate, buy it, use it, like it :)
