These foot pads are a scam. The pads contain vinegar, so when you open them and when the air comes in contact with the vigegar, the pads turn brown. So it looks like toxins are coming out of your body when it is actually the vinegar in the pads coming in contact with the air. And it is impossible for toxins to flow out of your foot (the skin is too thick)

ok, i was a skeptic so before i let go of my $16 i did my research, checked the lab results, heavy metal reports and other data, and read all the reviews i could find. here are my own results:
i have arthritis and take daily medications. i dole out exercise carefully to myself and wish i could do more but am aware that overdoing it will up my pain levels. after the first nite i woke up ok, and removed the very smelly patches. i walked downstairs. something was missing. for the past 20 years arthritis in my knees and ankles were the least painful areas i have - BUT - the noisiest. the knees and ankles make a crackling cracking kind of noise similar to the sound a cellophane wrapper on a cigarette package makes when you crinkle it up. not painful but always noisy, popping, audible. on the first morning, and for the last 5 days this noise is missing, gone, silent. today on the 5th day shoulder muscles that are eternally tight are softer and all muscles and joints feel better. i have slept better, i have had more energy. these were my results and i have already ordered 2 more boxes!!
INSTANT CHANGES AFTER FIRST NIGHT OF USE 2008-06-23
My friend and I wore the foot patches in the middle of the feet and after sleeping for an entire 8 hours, we peeled of the foot patches and analized them, mine were a dark brown color & & his was dark brown & had a white foam on top of it. They were both very sticky, it took, soap water and alcohol to remove the sticky stuff off of our feet. The differences we noticed in our bodies were amazing! In my line of work I have constant pain in my shoulders & back (even with regular massages), I even went to a concert the same night I used them for the first time & ended up falling down & hurting my knee & side & I woke up with no pain! As for my friend, he has constant back & shoulder pain from being very active in his work & he woke up with no back or shoulder pain! We both sounded like the Rice Crispy cereal after stretching our muscles out, meaning all the toxins were releasing our contantly contracted muscles that was causing us so much pain! Also, you know how when you wake up in the morning, you have a yuck! mouth, pasty & stinking even when brushing your teeth the night before, we woke up with NO yuck mouth & our breath didn't stink as bad, I truly mean you could only smell it faintly....after 8 hours of sleep!....Now to me that's AMAZING! I would definatley recommend this product to anyone that doesn't have seafood allergies, as it states on the product's info packet! It worked great for us & we are definatley going to buy in bulk & split the cost next time!

I have used these for 9 days so far, alternating locations on the feet. They are still a medium-dark brown. I have asthma and the biggest difference I have noticed is that I can breathe so much better. I don't wake up wheezing and coughing in the middle of the night like I used to. Even people at work have noticed I'm hardly coughing at all. I have not had to use my rescue inhaler in a week. I haven't noticed any relief of joint pain nor do I feel energized, but the breathing difference is well worth the money. I am going to order again.
Great Product. but still want to know if turmaline just turns dark from heat!!

I enjoyed the product, but I am still wondering if the heat from your feet is the reason for the pads turning a dark color. It's either I have some serious toxins in my body or that is the case because after 5 days of use, the pads did not get lighter.
I would like to do some more research.
I liked using them though. Thanks!

Tourmaline Gold Detox Foot Patches I type on a computer all day. My hands ache (not carple tunnel). I thought I would try these Detox Foot Patches. After 5 days, my hands are 80% better. I use one every night & still type every day. I don't know how they work, but THEY DO. And they are cheaper than any conventional medicine, with no side effects, I could buy to help with the pain.
