adjusting knob is slightly loose, need to turn slightly before the lens actually moves. Not sure whether my item is faulty, but still can be used.

this item was purchased through AMEX reward points, and was delivered by amazon. I was supposed to recieve an order number from amazon via email, but did not. The item was defective on delivery-one side of the binocular had gears and loose glass in it. I called Amazon for a refund/exchange and spoke to a young lady named Gapreet in India. She repeated over and over that without an Amazon order number, there was nothing I could do. Now, over two months later, Amazon sends an email asking me to rate the item. I have spent $4000-$6000 with amazon over the last few years. A tidy sum. Could they not say, "sure, we'll exchange these..." I got them as a gift from my Mother for my birthday, so I didn't get the box or paperwork....what am I supposed to do???
