Very nice for the price!

This is our second pair of these...my husband already had a set for his iPod as well. They are excellent headphones for the money. I read A LOT of reviews before buying.
The only downside is that they don't have a built in anti-tangle...that little piece that you slide to the top to bring the two earbuds together when not in use so that the cords don't separate and get knotted. They do provide a piece of bendable plastic that you can use to wrap the headphones to prevent tangling, but it's a pain to use.
Anyway, the most important thing about headphones is the sound and fit and these do an excellent job of that!
Great Mid Value Earbuds

I bought these for my sister for her birthday to go with her new pink Ipod mini. The colors watch perfectly. But colors aside, these little earbuds can produce crisp base-distortion free sounds in your ear even at max volume (although not suggested to try this...it hurts). It comes with 3 sizes of ear fitting plastic pieces to fit your unique ear size. Also note that these new ones come with a better and stronger wiring than the older model of V-Moda Bass Freq. The old ones tends to be more elastic but thing and fragile (I have an older pair).
Got Bass?

Well, this is my first day using these earphones, and I'm pretty impressed so far. The bass comming from these babies is PHENOMENAL! Almost sounds like my car haha. Compared to my Boss Triports and Sennheiser CX300s, the highs comming from these aren't anything too special, but if your current earphones are lacking in bass, get a pair of these V-Modas and you won't be disappointed.
perform as expected at sale price

These were the first earphones I bought to replace the (rather poor) Earbuds that came with my iPod Nano.
They sound good with adequate highs and mids but chunky full bass tones as the name implies. I don't listen to much hip hop but I do like my bottom end and these sound pretty good.
I have never used "in ear" phones before, but these are comfortable and secure. I found that a good seal was required to develop the bass register but if they are jammed in TOO far, it cuts out half the sound--they need to be "just right." No problem--easy to put on.
Over all, I recommend at $30-$35. Wouldn't pay much more, though.
Great sound .... but build quality is iffy

I upgraded to these when my Colby earbuds failed due to the wire disconnecting inside the grommet near the pin. The V-MODAs sound much better than the Colbys and cancel surrounding noise well. They are also more comfortable. BUT ... just this week after about six months, the same failure occurred. Now I have to fiddle with the wire to make a good connection, but that won't do for long. I'll be looking for a replacement.
V-Moda Earbuds

I got a MP3 Player for Xmas, but the earphones were cheap and didn't work after 6 months, the V-moda gives good sounds and the cords don't easily get tangled. This is a good pair of earphones to replace the cheap ones that come with most MP3 Players.
Excellent value!

I've had these headphones for about a month and I am very satisfied with them. They fit very comfortably in my ears and provide great sound. I was a bit worried by the reviews that said the bass was overwhelming and muddy, but thankfully I have not found this to be true. I suppose it's a matter of personal taste.
The only disappointment I have with these headphones is that because they fit snuggly in the ear and block out outside noise, you can hear a kind of muffled sound whenever the wire touches anything. This is kind of annoying if you like to take walks and listen to soft music (with louder music you don't notice it). However, I believe you would get this muffled sound with any headphones that block outside noise, so this isn't a problem unique to these headphones.
The quality of these headphones really shows through when traveling on a plane, train, or bus. In these situations, I used to struggle to hear my music properly - iPod on full volume, pushing the earbuds further into my ears... Not anymore! Now in loud situations I can hear my music perfectly with the volume relatively low (and I don't hear babies crying or bits of other people's conversations!).
Highly recommended.
Awesome sound quality

I bought these v-modas a couple of months ago. I love them so much that I just bought a second pair for myself and a pair for my wife.
The sound is excellent - better than that of my Shure E2Cs and other earphones I have tried. Sound isolation is also fabulous.
Highly recommended!
AWESOME SOUND!!!!!

The clarity of sound from these earbuds is outstanding!! The bass is awesome and the highs and midrange are crystal clear. I have to turn the volume down halfway, with these, compared to the earbuds that came with my MP3 player. When listening to a song, I can hear the singers pitch and range more clearly. They are well worth the money. Also, the silicone earbuds are sssoooo soft in my ears, and the differents sizes they give you allows you to get a good snug fit and be able to enjoy the bass sounds and block out any outside noises. When I have them in my ears I don't hear ANY outside noises. When I wear them mowing my lawn I barely hear the lawnmower; before with my other earbuds I sometimes couldn't hear the song being played.
For the time i had them, they were the best.

When i first listened to them, I instantly loved them. I take buses and needed something compact and able to block out the external sounds. They were awesome for the 2 mths I had them. Though since than the right side has gone out and im not sure if I want to buy another one afraid the same thing might happen again. Other than that they are so far the best sounding pair of earphones I've purchased.
