Logitech Notebook Travel Mouse 2008-09-28
Pros: Small, light, works very well.

Cons: Small, short (24") but useable USB cable.

The whole idea of buying this was to have something small and light weight that didn't require battery power when traveling.

Good one! 2008-09-19
I was initially in doubt about this mouse as most of the reviewers mentioned that the mouse is too small. I honestly think that the mouse is fine for anyone who uses his fingers rather than the wrist movement to control the mouse movement.

The chord is small (but I do have USB ports on both sides of the notebook, plus that makes it ultraportable). The movement is swift, obviously not for hi-fi gamers but its pretty decent otherwise (compared esp. to normal optical mouse). Worth at the price its offered.

Logitech V150 Laser Notebook Mouse 2007-10-25
The Logitech V150 Laser Mouse works flawlessly. It is smaller than a standard Mouse which only makes it easier to transport and store. Operating it is simple and straight-forward. Great product !!

Very good small mouse, approximately 1000 dpi, 2/3 the size of a regular mouse 2007-08-21
I got this mouse because I wanted a small mouse, since I mostly use my fingers to control a mouse, rather than using large sweeping wrist/arm movements (to do this, you set the Control Panel Mouse speed at maximum - this does require very good fine finger motor control).

This mouse does have a short cord (about 24 inches long) that everybody has mentioned. Since the computer I use is right next to me, I just plug it into one of the front panel USB plugs. For other computers, you will need a USB extension cord.

The left and right click buttons are just fine, about equivalent in light touch to the standard Microsoft optical mouse that I had been using. The scroll wheel is not as good as Microsoft's scroll wheels - it has that typical ratchety feel that most Logitech mice seem to have. So I took off one star for that.

While looking around for mice, I was unable to find ANY information as to the specifications for this mouse, not even on Logitech's website. So here are my measurements:

Dimensions: 4-7/8" (9.8 cm) long x 2" (5 cm) wide x 1-3/8" (3.3 cm) high. The waist on this mouse is about 1-3/4" (4.5 cm) wide. This waist is a nice feature, since it makes the mouse feel smaller than it really is.

Laser tracking: probably around 1000 dpi. That's my best estimate, after measuring the cursor motion vs. mouse movement off my LCD screen several times.

Weight: 76 grams (including cord)

And so this is not one of the smaller travel mice - it's only about 2/3 of the size of a regular mouse. Although it is lighter than a standard sized mouse, it does have a solid feel to it unlike some of the really small travel mice which are so lightweight that the slightest finger twitch will cause them to move.

The travel speed of the mouse (at the same Control Panel Mouse settings) is much faster than the 400 dpi standard Microsoft optical mouse I had been using, but I find the speed to be just about right. The 1000 dpi speed minimizes the amount of hand/finger travel, while still remaining controllable for me. It makes the old 400 dpi mouse feel like it is standing still. (I should note that I also tried a 1600 dpi Iogear laser mouse - with the Control Panel settings set at maximum speed, the Iogear runs wild, and is too hard to control).

The perfect mouse... 2007-05-12
Great for laptops! The cord is short, so you don't have to worry about getting tangled up. I have small hands, so very easy to use and comfortable, compared to those bigger, bulkier mouses. The mouse is very light, and people compliment me on how it matches the casing on my laptop.

GREAT BUY

Great mouse. 2007-01-18

cord 2006-12-21
The laser gives great tracking, the size is comfortable, and it's very compact. The cord is TOO SHORT. If your USB ports are on the wrong side good luck. The cord is like 18" long. Your laptop is like 14" wide. Make sire the ports are on the ride side or buy a cable extension.

Nice and accurate but not for large hands. 2006-09-19
I like it. I had the MS wireless laser mouse but didn't care for the fact that every once in awhile, I would lose the signal. So, I bought this one.

It's accurate and comfortable but it's not for large hands. I have kids and they use the computer so I don't mind this smaller mouse but if you have large hands, forget it.

Also, the cord is very short (about 2 ft long) so you will need a hub on your desk top or an extension cable, neither of which is included.
