Perfect Portable Speakers 2008-08-07
I couldn't ask for better speakers for the money. I paid $36 including shipping for these speakers and it is definitely worth it. They are very loud, especially for the size of the speakers. Even at the loud volume, you can hear the detail in the music, and unless you are about to blow them out, there isn't any distortion at all. There isn't an ipod charger on it, but I don't have an ipod anyway. I bought another set for my brother they were so good. They are also very small and easy to travel with--probably 3" diameter and 11-12" long. Great sound, good price, great size.

A little disappointed 2008-08-04
Unit is small and comes with a great carrying case and all the adapters you could require, however, the volume is poor. My laptop actually plays louder than this unit.

Great sound for the price! 2008-07-05
Speakers are great, only complaint I have is with the company, BuyAcessories. I ordered the speakers in white and they shipped black...kind of ticked, but the speakers are GREAT!!

Very good portable speaker setup 2008-05-23
I'm quite impressed with the sound these small speakers can put out. No, you won't shake the walls with these, but for most personal situations, the volume should be more than suffice. Overall tone is decent for background listening. They won't stand up to critical listening, but they're not intended to.

The unit comes with a nice carry case that holds not only the speakers but the power adapter and extension audio cord. A bonus.

There are a few issues with it though. The audio cord is a small guage wire that seems rather fragile. Worse, the way you're supposed to stow it is to wrap it around the rectanguar base of the unit and snap the plug into a recess in the base. This puts sharp bends in the cord and appears to be a great way to break the wire inside. I also have noticed issues with the volume buttons, they occasionally will get stuck in the depressed mode so the volume will rise and blast as you try to unstick the button. The volume buttons also seem to a bit finicky, responding well at some times, refusing to respond others. Also, unplugging the AC and running on battery with actually RAISE the volume considerably, plugging the AC back in will drop the volume down to almost zero. Odd.

These are comparatively minor problems though and don't prevent me from recommending these speakers.

Wow, I am suprisingly pleased!! 2008-02-21
I was definitely not expecting the quality that I received based on the price and size, but this is one of the best deals BY FAR! I was a little disappointed by the lack of buttons and features like having to dock with the actual iPod cable through the bottom. Also, the aux plug is just a headphone jack that you plug into the top of the iPod and not the bottom, but the Sound definitely makes up for it.

Ipod Nano - 2nd gen owners beware 2008-01-28
While the quality of the speakers are very good, generation 2 Ipod Nano owners need to know that the there is not an adaptor available to hold your ipod correctly in place. When I talked to Logitech, they simply sent me the same adaptors that originally came with the speakers. Also, in order to charge the unit while using the speakers, you will need to either connect to your computer USB port, or buy an optional Apple Ipod charging adaptor for your Ipod.

Portable Speakers for iPod 2008-01-28
I purchased this speaker system for my Olympus digital voice recorder, which fits nicely with one of the adapters that comes with the speakers. I heard a few others, but for the money and size this one is the best sounding in my opinion, and is also good looking. Can't go wrong for the price.

I love it! 2007-10-16
I was looking for a long time for portable speakers for my ipod, and most of the ones I found were way over-priced. I actually considered buying the circular ones that have great sound, but i really wanted something i can carry around. The thing about this, it's not just for an ipod, it's for anything that has a plug for headphones, I even use it for my computer when I watch videos because they get pretty loud. Surprisingly my batteries have not died as soon as I thought they would. It comes with a carrying case. I love that they are so small, it was definitely worth the price!

Very portable, good quality sound . . . important to adjust volume on the iPod (at least 3/4 max) to get best volume from the unit.
